The large kitchen has been kitted out with high quality appliances, granite worktops, limestone flooring, electric range oven, plus a kitchen island with sit up bar area - perfect whilst cooking up a feast for family or friends to enjoy. Step up into the impressive open-plan sitting and dining area where evenings can be spent playing a board game or two before retiring upstairs to one of the two delightful bedrooms. The king-size master bedroom boasts an expansive feature window framing the countryside that surrounds the barn. The second bedroom can be made up as either a king-size bed or twin single beds - ideal for younger guests or friends joining you in your hideaway. Both rooms are complimented by a luxury family bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and large walk-in shower.

Returning to the ground floor, the french doors lead out to the huge garden mainly laid to lawn, and a patio area offers the perfect opportunity for a summer barbecue. During your stay, feeding the chickens is a must. Don't forget to say 'hi' to the friendly sheep that surround the garden too. The village is just a short 12 mile drive from McArtherGlen designer shopping outlet if you fancy a spot of retail therapy, or a little further afield Newby Hall and Gardens is a perfect day out for all ages; they even have a miniature ride on train. The coastal towns of Scarborough and Filey are also within easy reach are for a day trip to the beach.
