Confortable casa en un precioso escenario

La casa, situada en un hermoso paraje rural, esta muy bien equipada y resulta muy comfortable. Es tal y como describen las fotos. Petra, la propietaria, es muy atenta y, a la vez, muy discreta. Altamente recomendable!

Sehr gut organisierte und ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit Info-Map zur Nutzung. Bequeme Betten, ruhige Lage auf einem Bauernhof mit schönem Ausblick. Supermarkt in Alphen aan den Rijn nur 1,5 km entfernt – ideal mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Parken mit dem Auto teuer, wie üblich in Holland. Perfekte Ausgangslage für Ausflüge nach Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Leiden, Den Haag, Delft oder ans Meer. Die Vermieterin hat uns nett empfangen und war jederzeit hilfsbereit. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Excellent Apartment

Excellent location and lovely to be in the countryside but close to tourist attractions. Children loved playing in the garden and was great to eat outside with alpacas in the next field. House was a good size and generally well equipped.

Just as advertised

Nice property in a calm area. It was a bit of a hike to get to the train station (I needed to commute into Leiden). But, it was a great location for the family with easy access to the freeway system to see other cities and sites—no need to work your way out of a downtown area to go anywhere. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful country location

Petra was a wonderful host Who I enjoyed speaking with. She provided excellent information about local restaurants and stores. The apartment Had amazing views of green pastures, farm animals and Numerous wild birds. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wanted awesome and quiet location away from the city

Sehr zufrieden

Wir haben uns in dem ruhig gelegenen Reihenendhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten sind etwas schmal, man konnte aber trotzdem gut darin schlafen. Da wir nicht so schönes Herbstwetter hatten, haben wir mit dem Auto schöne Ausflüge nach Amsterdam und Rotterdam unternommen, aber auch Alphen hat sehr viel Charme

Location très bien équipée. L'environnement est très plaisant. C'est un point de départ idéal si l'on veut visiter les grandes villes (La Haye, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Delft, etc.).

Beautiful place

We stayed with our family of 5. Our daughters are 16, 19, and 22. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We especially loved sitting on the deck and watching the animals in the mornings and evenings. The apartment was spotless and as described. A washer and dryer were available for 4€ each per load. The surrounding area was quiet and lovely. We found we needed a car to get around as the train station was over 2km from the apartment and we could not find a taxi or rideshare in the evenings. Overall it was a great experience for our family and we would choose to stay there again if we return!

Great location; Quiet and Clean.

We stayed for 9 days in June and it was great. The home is clean, functional and is in a very quiet farm community. Alphen Aan De Rijn is centrally located in The Netherlands and perfect for day trips to Amsterdam, Gouda, Delft, The Hague, etc. We would stay here again if we visited Holland.

Wonderful experience

We are an italian family with two children aged 5 and 9. In this house we had a great time. The house is perfect, it has everything a family could need: the appliances and furniture are of excellent quality. The property has a beautiful garden with animals and a little playground. Petra, the owner, is an extremely helpful person. We recommend this house to anyone.

Perfect in every way! Quoting Mary Poppins!

We just loved our stay! We came in from Utah to terrible rain and winds but they subsided after 3 days and we had glorious weather the rest of our stay! We loved our walks and runs in the area. It was central to all our day trips. We came with two married daughters and their families, so we were all able to be together, but separate. Alphen aan de Rijn is also a lovely city and of course it is just a few minutes either way to beautiful Gouda and Leiden. Our host Petra was kind, sweet and so accommodating. We all loved the Alpacas and other beasts! The only thing that could have made it even more perfect for me was to have a little more Dutch art on the walls, skip the modern stuff and do more of the cute Dutch little farm kids in the bedroom of the first unit! We highly recommend Maria’s Lust!

The lodging was just what it said it would be. The host was wonderful and every helpful

The lodging was nice and tidy. The kitchen had all the items needed to fix a meal. Beautiful surroundings and close to the highway to get Amsterdam, Keukenhof and Kinderdijk.

Excellent property

Fabulous property and Petra was a wonderful host. Peaceful location yet close to all amenities. Very central location for exploring The Netherlands. Property spotless and very well appointed with all facilities that could be needed. Hope to see you again next year

Had a wonderful stay

My friend and I had a wonderful stay in this great apartment. It was spotlessly clean, well insulated and comfortable. It was very well equipped with the exception of not having a hair dryer. Most vacation rentals I have stayed in have had hair dryers and this would make the equipment perfect. There is a field with alpacas that are fun to watch especially when they are herding the sheep around. There terrace outside is perfect on a warm day. The hostess was wonderful and helpful. The beds and furniture were comfy. There is a bus/train station in town that goes to many places so if you don't feel like driving into surrounding cities, you can take the train. Daily parking is about 6 euros at the station. The town of Alphen has everything you could need and is just minutes away while you are in the countryside. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay

We spent a week at Maria's Lust in May, 2018. The owner, Petra Harting, was very helpful answering our questions before arrival and during our stay. The rental was quiet with views of the farm and countryside, although it was only a short distance from the city of Alphen aan den Rijn. Every evening the newborn lambs put on a show of running around the field - better than TV! Excellent rental.

We loved our stay at this quiet farm! It was perfect for our family of 6.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds are comfortable and the property is beautiful. There’s even a trampoline and swings that the kids can play on. The location is great. We traveled all over Holland and nothing was ever too far away. I would definitely recommend this house.
