Luxury Crantock Apartment, just 10 mins from the beach.

Sunny Corner is a new, comfortable and homely apartment near the centre of the picturesque coastal village of Crantock. It is just 10 minutes walk from the beach and the village shops, cafe and pub. It sleeps 4 to 5 people and has driveway parking for one car. It has a beautifully sunny decked area, which lives up to its name!

The main living area comprises of a large and spacious open plan sitting room, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The large windows and south facing French doors means it is often flooded by the light and warmth of the sunshine, which makes it an ideal place to completely relax and unwind. The large double glass doors lead out to the South facing decked area which is sheltered from the onshore breezes creating a perfect sun trap for soaking up the Cornish sunshine. The decked area is equipped with table and 4 chairs for outside dining. With the doors pinned open, "Sunny Corner" provides the perfect opportunity for inside/outside living.

The property has a fully equipped kitchen with all you need, including a microwave, oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and plenty of storage cupboards.

The dining area has a wooden extending table which can seat 4-6 people. (The pictures show the table un-extended - there are two additional leaves which can be pulled out). There is also a high chair provided

The living area has a large 3 seater sofa and a single armchair, and is equipped with a digital TV (with freeview) and HDMI connectors (so guests can connect their personal laptops to the TV to watch DVDs, iplayers etc).

There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a double bunk bed with single bunk on top. A travel cot is provided.

The bedrooms are equipped with chest of drawers and black out curtains ensuring a comfortable and restful night’s sleep.

The bathroom is ensuite (situated between the two bedrooms with Jack and Jill doors to both bedrooms). It has a bath, an over-bath electric shower, WC, washbasin with overhead light with electric shaving point and a heated towel rail.

The apartment also has laundry facilities including iron, ironing board, washing machine and airing racks. Guests have sole use of the lockable garage which provides plenty of space to securely store surfboards, bikes, etc

There is off road parking on the driveway for one car.

We also have a 4 bedroom cottage which sleeps 8 available next door so for guests who would like to holiday with friends please do enquire for more details.

Family stay in Crantock

A family of 3 stayed in Sunny Corner in Crantock for a week in August and had a fantastic time. The location of the property is perfect for us, 10 minute walk to the beach at Crantock and a short walk further to get to Poly Joke beach. Pubs and places to eat are in walking distance from the property. The property is open plan living area more than big enough for a family of 4. One on the biggest plus points is the attached garage, all the sand covered stuff we took to the beach could be dumped in the garage to prevent a sandy house. We would all stay again.

lovely cottage in a beautiful spot

The Sunny Corner cottage is located in a beautiful setting. The nearby beach is superb and the coastline, especially if you walk towards the south-west, direction Holywell beach, is truly paradisiac. Our daugther (10 yrs) just loved it. It's perfect for small families with kids as well as for surfers, as you can carry your board to the beach. The appartment was spotless clean and all we needed was there. A perfect place to forget about everyday life. Thanks Vicky for having us ! We have spent a gorgeous week in Sunny Corner.

Sehr schöne und super gut zum Strand gelegene Wohnung. Ein Nachteil ist die sehr nah an der kleinen Straße gelegene kleine Terrasse mit doch viel Urlaubsverkehr (Autos und Füßgänger). Wir haben die Terrasse in zwei Wochen daher kaum genutzt und den Sonnenuntergang stattdessen am Strand genossen.

Wundervoller Strandurlaub in toller Fewo

Wir haben einen wundervollen Strand- und Kultururlaub in Crantock verbracht. Der fußläufig erreichbare Strand ist zu jeder Tageszeit wunderbar und von hier aus läßt sich Cornwall mit jeweils ungefähr einer Stunde Fahrt ganz toll erkunden. Die Fewo ist sehr schön, super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Es gibt leider keinen Garten. Nur die auf den Bildern gezeigte Terrasse, welche direkt an der Straße liegt. Das hat uns jedoch nicht weiter gestört, da wir von morgens bis abends am Strand waren oder Ausflüge unternommen haben.

Nice flat in a beautiful location

The flat was very nice with everything you need from cooking facilities to washing. The beach is very close, as well as the south west trail. Only the water pressure of the shower could be better. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Thank you. We would love to come back.

Wonderful appartment in a great location. Had everything we needed.

We had a fabulous stay at Sunny Corner, it was a perfect base for us to return to after days out with plenty of space and everything we needed. The master bedroom has a huge bed and is very comfortable and the second bedroom also has a double bunk bed with a travel cot provided which was most useful. The lounge / kitchen diner is light and spacious too, we couldn't have asked for more. The apartment is in a perfect location with only a short walk to the most beautiful beach across a field. We decided to drive down to the National Trust car park (free for members) which made it much easier for my mother who would have struggled with the steep sand dunes and my 1 year old daughter who isn't yet walking, plus we had bags/ towels to carry! Nearby to lots of other seaside towns (within half an hours distance) we visited Perranporth, Newquay, Padstow and some of the local National Trust houses and gardens. We loved our stay and only wished that we could have been there longer. We hope to return to Sunny Corner again one day.

Cosy and Perfect

Our weeks stay could not have been more pleasant. The cottage is small, but perfect for a family of 4. With all the facilities you need for a comfortable holiday. The front is a really sun trap, great for an evening BBQ and outdoor dining. Being only a short walk over the dunes to the beach, or down to the village shops and pubs, makes the car largely redundant. We spent most of our time on the beach, with the kids enjoying the surf (Wetsuits are a must!). And having use of the garage to dry the gear off made life even easier. Can't wait to go back, and explore more of the wider area.

A perfect apartment.

What a perfect week away with my family, the apartment was everything it said it is, clean, tidy, well maintained and perfect.Walking distance to Crantock Beach which is really good, saves driving and paying for parking. 3 pubs in walking distance as well as a village shop. I would definently recommend this apartment in fact I miss it already!! Thanks to Vicky for letting us stay.

fantastic holiday rental

very clean comfortable and well equipped. owners very helpful if required but don't bother you unless you need them . information pack on arrival is extremely useful if you don't know the area . crantock is a 5 min walk and it has 2 pubs and a local shop / bakery and a tea room . the beach is a 5 min walk over fields but well worth it .

Lovely spot to stay in an idyllic location

Sunny corner was ideal for us as a family of 4. The kids loved the novelty of sleeping in bunk beds and with the larger bed on the bottom the option of them both sleeping together there was available. The living room kitchen area is actually larger in reality than it looks in the photos. The kitchen was well equipped even though we didn't eat in much. We ate out most evenings and the best meal we had was in the Bolingey Inn. It was slightly off the beaten track near Peranporth but found out about it via TripAdvisor. Probably the best thing about Sunny Corner was the proximity to Crantock beach. Via the path across the field it was only 5 minutes away and a fun descent down some steep sand dunes!! Great fun but slightly harder on the way back up. The beach itself is probably the best one I've been to in Cornwall. All in all we had a great week and would love to stay there again at some point in the future.

Great Holiday Base

The photos provide an accurate picture of the property.Clean,well maintained,stylish decor.Use of the laundry facilities is a bonus.Plenty of space ,although there were only two of us.Great kitchen facilities.The location was the main selling point for us.Crantock seemed a world away from Newquay but only three miles from the supermarkets.Situated at the edge of the village its an easy stroll down to the dunes and the awesome beach.Several pubs within walking distance,all doing food.

Nette, kleine Wohnung in super Lage

Die Wohnung ist für 4 Personen super geeignet. Gute Ausstattung. Die Lage ist fantastisch. 5 Min zum Strand, 5 Min zum Bäcker/Supermarkt, und 15 Min zum Sonnenuntergang an den Klippen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Lovely Apartment and great location

Stayed here recentely for 4 nights with my family. The place was great with more than enough room for the 5 of us. The terrace area was a real bonus as it really caught the sun and gave our kids an outdoor run around space. The location is amazing, with Crantock beach being 5 mins walk away, and with Polly Joke and Holywell being a bit further away but still walkable. The property was clean and very tidy and communication with the owners was excellent, answering any questions very quickly. We would definitely stay here again

Stunning location, lovely apartment!

This apartment is beautifully furnished, very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The WiFi wasn't the best signal, but worked OK, but this was a nice change from the norm for us! The location is amazing, 5 minutes walk from Crantock beach, which is stunning. Plenty of pubs/restaurants/tea rooms in walking distance. Plenty of great walks from the front door for all abilities. The hosts are very friendly and always on hand to offer local advice or assistance if required.

Perfect holiday apartment in beautiful Crantock

We stayed at this apartment in July/Aug as a family with 2 children. We had a wonderful time. The apartment is ideally placed for a stroll into the pretty village of Crantock or Pentire. Turn right out of the property and literally walk across the fields and you arrive at the fabulous Crantock beach. This was a perfect base for exploring other parts of Cornwall too. Accommodation was clean, bright with good facilities and the children loved the bunk beds. The owner was extremely helpful from the word go and left a nice welcome letter/pack. We would def recommend.

Beautiful place to holiday

The annex was clean, bright and airy. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen well equipped. Table extends which was very handy. Jack and Jill bathroom brilliant idea and good use of space. Booked for next year!

My husband and I live nearby in Padstow, with our 3 young boys. We love Crantock, and spend lots of family days together on Crantock beach, lazing around on the gannel or surfing.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We chose to live in Crantock because of it charming village feel, its stunning scenery and amazing beaches. Village life is great too, Crantock holds regular village events including the annul bale push, music in the park, and village fiesta! Sadly work has meant we have moved away from Crantock for now, and so we now let out the property for holidays.
