The living areas in this four-storey property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, a lower-ground-floor utility with washing machine, and a sitting room with TV and woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a second-floor double with en-suite, and a first floor twin with separate first floor bathroom. Outside there is a front patio with bench, and an enclosed rear courtyard with furniture and bike storage, and off-road parking for one car. This is a smoke-free property. One well behaved dog welcome. You'll find a shop in 0.6 miles, a pub in 0.5 miles, and River Wye in 0.9 miles. WiFi. fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Longstone View is a wonderful base for a family break to Derbyshire.

The town's historic market hall dates to the 17th century, and a contemporary recreation facility with a pool is close by. In the Peak District National Park, Bakewell is conveniently located for visiting this stunning area. Within reasonable driving distance are Britain's top theme park, Alton Towers, as well as the rocky Dark Peak and the softer limestone White Peak. The spectacular caverns in neighbouring Castleton and Little John's burial site in Hathersage are both well worth a visit, as are the other stately homes to be visited, including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Hardwick Hall to name a few. Visit the spectacular Edwardian Opera House in Buxton, which was created by Frank Matcham, who also created the London Palladium.
