Our vacation homes are ideal for a completely relaxing beach vacation, for exploring Matera and Basilicata, for families with young children, for golfers (there are two courses nearby), and, in general, for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
The homes are located on a farm in the heart of the Metaponto plain, where we grow olive trees, strawberries, and vegetables.

We have two vacation homes available for our guests: the “Casa del Gelsomino” with 1 bedroom (2–3 people) and the “Casa delle Rose” with 2 bedrooms (4–6 people). Both cottages open onto the porch and the spacious garden with a lawn, which is completely separate from our farming activities—making it ideal for relaxing and for children to play. On the porch, there is a dining table for guests who wish to enjoy their meals surrounded by the garden. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests, even in the garden. Covered parking is just a few meters from the house. The houses are fully equipped with hotel-quality, sanitized bed linens and bath towels, so there’s no need to bring your own. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and cookware. For laundry, our guests have access to a washing machine and a large outdoor clothesline.

The beach is less than a ten-minute drive away. The beaches, with their fine, light-colored sand, are surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and a pine forest. The beach has a large free parking lot. There are both public beaches and private beach clubs where you can eat and enjoy various activities, such as attending a sailing school and taking mini-cruises. Near the beach, there are several shops, including a supermarket, a newsstand, a pharmacy, and a tobacco shop. The “Porto degli Argonauti” marina is located 7 km away and can be reached in just a few minutes. For those who love rocky coastlines, the Calabrian coast—where sand gives way to pebbles and rocks—is just over half an hour away.

Our vacation homes are the ideal starting point for exploring various tourist destinations in Basilicata, and during your stay, you’ll discover something new every day.

A visit you absolutely shouldn’t miss is to Matera, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and designated European Capital of Culture for 2019. The ancient historic centers of Basilicata—such as Bernalda (16 km), Pisticci (22 km), and Tursi (40 km)—offer not only their historical and cultural heritage but also culinary and wine experiences. About 75 km away is the Pollino National Park, which straddles the border between Basilicata and Calabria and boasts the highest peaks in Southern Italy (2,200 m), surrounded by majestic beech and coniferous forests. For those who love history and archaeology, the archaeological sites of Magna Graecia and the Archaeological Museums of Metaponto and Taranto are within easy reach. Just a few kilometers away, you can venture into Puglia (Taranto, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Ostuni, the Castellana Caves, the Salento region, ...).
