Modern spacious, newly renovated 3 bedroom house with 3 ensuite bedrooms. Can be rented with the adjacent property, No1 to provide sleeping for 12. Located in a very quiet, pleasant cul de sac close to the Feversham Arms Hotel and a stone's throw from the historic centre of Helmsley, a delightful market town nestling in the foothills of the North Yorkshire Moors. Helmsley has excellent shops, cafes, restaurants and a weekly market. The local attractions of Rievaulx Abbey, Duncombe Park with the International Centre for Birds of Prey, Helmsley castle and walled gardens are all within walking distance of the property. This is a perfect location for visiting the surrounding areas of, Ryedale, York and the attractive North Yorkshire coastline including Robins Hood Bay and Whitby. Castle Howard is 20 minutes away. In the summer months Helmsley benefits from an open air, heated swimming pool, just a 5 minute walk away from the property. At Kirbymoorside there is an 18 hole champion standard golf course. There are also Riding Schools located within Helmsley, Sinnington and further afield. The famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway is located in Pickering, 13 miles away, with regular steam trains to Whitby.

Beautiful, very comfortable, well appointed house in lovely market town. Two minutes from square with restaurants, coffee shops and bars and yet in such a peaceful setting with a lovely private sun trap back garden. Such a good point of access to moors, country villages and coast. A lovely host too, It’s a winner!

A beautifully presented cooking, dining, socialising area. Modern kitchen with latest appliances makes food prep and creation a breeze. Two comfortable seating areas for TV and quieter pastimes. Made good use of the bi-fold doors onto immaculately kept lawn and garden.

The property was in a great location we could walk to everywhere without driving. The property was very clean, well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfy it had a beautiful kitchen with loads of room for our family of six. We did not use the garden but if it was summertime we would have done for sure.

Spectacular setting in Helmsley centre

This is a stylish, tastefully modernised cottage in the heart of Helmsley. Spacious, airy, light and clean, you couldn’t get better. The accommodation is comfortable. The location is quiet being a street back from the main routes yet only 2mins walk through a church yard to the market square. Surrounded by beautiful views on all sides, this cottage provides the perfect stay.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location.

Very comfortable & convenient home in Helmsley

First of all I want to say how prompt & efficient Amanda’s communications are. From pre-booking questions all the way to the day we left the house, she was very helpful. The house is exactly as described on-line and provided an extremely comfortable stay. We found the house clean and well equipped. We found everything we needed during our week long stay. It is located perfectly for both hanging out in Helmsley and day trip excursions onto the North Yorkshire Moors, the East Coast, York and even over to the Yorkshire Dales. If we have plans to vacation again in this area, then I would definitely stay at Feversham Cottage again.

Beautiful home and gardens in the best location to explore

Helmsley is a gorgeous location with its own micro brewery, shops, cafes, pups and a great location to explore Yorkshire. We loved our stay and had all the home comforts we could ever need. Well thought out and beautifully decorated with a secluded country cottage garden. Thank you for sharing your home.

The property is Ideal for a stay in Helmsley. In a quiet location, but only a short walk from the town centre. The rear garden is safe for children, with a key operated bolted gate. Our 3 year old granddaughter loved it. Very well equipped. We stayed at No 1 last year so knew what to expect. We will return in the near future.

Great base for exploring N Yorks

The house was very clean, spacious and well-equipped, with a beautiful garden for sitting out. It's in a quiet spot but still only a couple of minutes walk to the heart of the village. Ideally placed for exploring the North York Moors area.

Great property, great location

The property is lovely, especially the kitchen/dining area. We really enjoyed watching the birds in the lovely garden. A couple of the bathrooms are a bit small - but very useful to have en suites for each room.

Relaxing Break

We loved our Monday to Friday autumn stay in Helmsley. The property was ideal; hard flooring, utility room and enclosed garden for the labradors, cosy fire and excellent bathrooms for us. The property is situated in a quiet part of town but close to the centre. We enjoyed walks in the surrounding area and trips to Whitby and beach walks. Altogether a great location and an ideal property.

Restful and good for visitors/.

This is a really excellent rental. We have used this many times before and with the recent renovations it is superb. We (an originally UK couple now residing in the USA) like to come here and use it as a "home". Entertain friends and relatives. Very well supplied with every thing you need. .It is a home away from home. And the town of Helmsley, only 2 minutes from your door, is an absolute gem.

A lovely house in a great location

Amanda has provided a lovely, comfortable, modernised house which is a short walk to Helmsley Market Town which is a busy hub for travellers and tourists. It is a great location to explore the North York Moors and surrounding areas and after being out the house is such a lovely place to chill out

We moved to Yorkshire when my third son was on the way as we fell in love with the county and have now been here over 15 years. We do not plan to leave!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

It started because my Mum who was living in Italy full time and wanted to have a base in England for the winter. I chose Helmsley and found her somewhere to rent. It was perfect, in fact she loved it so much that we purchased a property that we could rent out in the summer and she could live in in the winter. I loved doing the holiday lets so when next door became available, we decided to purchase that house too. We have great pride in our properties and love leaving them immaculate for the next guests. We hope you enjoy staying in them.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

One of the keys things mum realised when she was renting in Helmsley was that the property must be within 1-2 minutes from the centre and needed to have off street parking, as there is nothing worse than coming back and not being able to park outside your house! Both our houses have off street parking and are a minutes walk from the centre.
