8 wonderful days in Campo al Salcio

A superb view on a great landscape, two homely and neat appartments equipped with everything we needed, Laura as a host taking care of everything we requested (especially but not only at the stage when we were planning our holiday), wonderful locations like Florence/Firence, Siena, San Gimignano, etc. nearby, a large swimming pool not only for our two kids (13/10) but also for my wife and me - all four of us where absolutely happy with our decision to spend our holiday here (and we might consider to do it again even though we usually tend to explore other locations year by year)!

Perfect holiday apartment

After a busy 2 weeks exploring Italy, this was the perfect end to our holiday. After a warm welcome from Laura, we (my husband, daughter 15, son 12 and sister in law (no age given) started our last 3 days of relaxation. Beautiful location, excellent accommadation, well equipped and clean. The pool provided my family with hours of fun and kept us cool. Florence was only 30 minutes away by car. There are a few convienenence stores in San Polo that provided us with our needs and also a good Trattoria with a friendly atmosphere. The welcome pack from Laura was gratefully received especially the Vino. We will love to return to Mezzalle next year and have already recommended this property to friends.

Schöner Aufenthalt in ruhiger Umgebung

On reviendra !

Erholsamer Familienurlaub in San Polo

Lovely, peaceful break

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Laura’s place. It is a beautiful, tranquil spot and a welcome, homely retreat from city life. Very well located for visiting local towns (we did day trips to Siena and Firenze) and the pool located in the grounds of the apartment is sparklingly clean, cool and heavenly. The views are stunning and the kids loved stargazing at night. The apartment is well equipped for preparing simple meals and the local Co-op in San Polo had a good selection. Laura kindly gave us delicious homegrown tomatoes too, and local honey and olive oil. All in all, highly recommended!
