Stockholm on Ekerö Cosy Cottage & Sauna.

Accommodation run by ourselves ( a family who enjoy it and doing it for years ). A desire to ensure guests are happy, relaxed and feel that they received value for their money. Private cottage and Sauna. Close to nature with lovely walks outside your door. It’s Quite and peaceful & a Short walk down to the water.. Possibility to view wild elk, deer & boar so drive safe.

The space
Private cabin on a beautiful island with one double bed in one bedroom and a small extra sleeping area with one bunk bed (see photographs). As you may know Saunas are expensive to operate and we don’t charge extra so please respect it’s usage this allows us keep the price low . Living room with dining table, TV and cooking area. Bathroom with shower.

Owners house is on the same property and there is a big garden which you are more then welcome to share with us. If you are visiting with kids feel free to use our swings, slide, sandbox and trampoline (not available winter times). We are not precious , the more you use our stuff the happier we are. Just play safe we have two children of our own to keep eyes on ☺️ Pets are welcome however kindly keep off the beds. We work hard to ensure bedding is absolutely fresh & clean.
Guest access
Parking available on property. Bus stop is 2 min walk. Easy to get around the neighbourhood by foot, by bike or by bus/car. Small beach less then 10 min walk away.
Grocery shop 4 min drive or 35-40 min walk away.

Swedish Directions -
Med T-bana till Brommaplan och buss till stop Nytorp ( Sten Banérs Väg )

Från centralen, åk grön linje mot Hässelby, Vällingby eller Åkeshov till Brommaplan. Därifrån går bussar till Kaggeholm. Direktbuss 309 från Brommaplan till Kaggeholm eller nr 176, 177 med bussbyte vid Ekebyhov till buss 309. För att planera din resa, använd dig av SL:s reseplanerare.

If taking bus here, Brommaplan is a good location for shopping food and beverages.

Also there is a wonderful ferry from Ekerö center #89 into and out from Stockholm city - we strongly recommend this as transportation into the City.
