Petit Brio has been part of the Thompson family for over a decade, lovingly designed and built by Robert and Caroline in 2007. In 2017, their son Joss and his wife Denee continued the legacy, transforming this stunning apartment into one of the Alps’ best-kept secrets—a true haven for adventurers and families alike.
With a shared passion for snowboarding, mountaineering, climbing, and cycling, the move from Surrey to Samoëns was inevitable for us. In fact, we’ve always felt this picturesque valley was more than a destination—it was home. In 2015, we tied the knot in Chalet Brio’s beautiful gardens, and by 2017, we made the leap to live here full-time.
Now, as a family of four—Skyelar (6) and Khione (4) keep us on our toes—we’re more committed than ever to sharing the magic of Samoëns with our guests. Whether you’re here for a snow-filled winter escape or a sunny summer retreat, our family-friendly, year-round resort offers something truly special for everyone.
