True Rustic Sicilian House with beautiful views

San Vito sells itself, but this house is a real treasure! The beds were comfortable and the house had everything you needed. The pools and grounds are outrageous. Highly recommend!

Wir verbrachten 11 wunderschöne Tage, aber...

...das Objekt ist sehr hellhörig, so dass man ungewollt am Leben der weiteren 3 Parteien teilnimmt. Die Ausstattung der Küche hat, wenn man die anderen Rezensionen liest, in den letzten 2 Jahren einigen Schwund erfahren. Um zu kochen, musste man ein wenig improvisieren (z.B. gab nur einen grossen Topf mit passendem Deckel). Die Grills (es gab immerhin 2) waren unbenutzbar und noch verschmutzt vom Vormieter. Auch standen volle Aschenbecher auf der Veranda. Die Schlafzimmer sind sehr klein - die Fotos suggerieren grössere Räume. Alles in allem ist die Anlage aber sehr gepflegt, die Lage ist wundervoll (Blick aufs Meer von der Terrasse) und die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Die Agentur vor Ort ist nicht unbedingt die freundlichste, aber eine defekte Wasserpumpe am Sonntag wurde innerhalb von 2h repariert.

Beau paysage mais attention il s agit d appartement et non de maison séparée.

Attention il s agit d'une maison séparée en 4 appartements. Nous avons loué un des appartement pour 7 personnes ( et nous étions 7) c etait petit pour 7 adultes mais nous avons aimé cette propriété. Nous avons été surpris par l accueil qui était très sommaire et surtout sur le fait que la maison était divise en 4 et non 4 maisons. A part ça la propriété est top et la piscine est grande. Il vous faudra absolument une voiture car la villa est isolée. Nous avons qd même passé un agréable séjour mais l annonce n est pas vraiment clair.

This place is awesome. Quiet and great views all around. Pool was great. Patios are great. And close to the great little town. This is a real Sicilian experience.

bucht den oberen stock!

wir waren im unteren stock (einzige wohnung mit 3 schlafzimmern, insgesamt sind es 4 appartments im haus - 2 oben, 2 unten). von oben hört man praktisch jeden schritt, das haus ist sehr ringhörig. da oben eine familie mit kindern war, waren wir immer schon um halb 8 wach. zudem sind die betten eine katastrophe: die matratzen sind sehr hart (rückenschmerzen) und da es pro doppelbett je 1 matratze gibt, merkt der bettpartner jede bewegung des anderen. wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen! zudem hat man in dieser wohnung in allen schlafzimmern nur ein sehr kleines fenster, hoch oben und hinten heraus, also quasi eine dunkelkammer, und jedenfalls nix mit meerblick! den hat man eigentlich nur von der terasse aus. zu bemerken ist zudem, dass man hier morgensonne hat, ab dem späteren nachmittag (oktober: ab ca. halb 4) ist man im schatten des hohen berges. abendsonne oder gar sonnenuntergänge sind hier sicher fehlanzeige. sodann muss man sich bewusst sein, dass es keine geschirrspülmaschine gibt, und dass nur ein bad/wc vorhanden ist. das positive wurde schon viele male gesagt. am besten gefielen uns der eingezäunte grosse garten rund uns haus, wo die kinder gefahrlos spielen können.

Nette Wohnung mit schöner Terrasse und traumhaftem Ausblick

Die Lage und der Ausblick auf das Wasser und den Garten sind traumhaft. Die Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten auf der Terrasse sind gemütlich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt für sechs Personen drei Liegen, wir hätten gerne mehr gehabt. Die Wohnung ist sauber sowie praktisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Räume sind eher klein, aber ausreichend groß. Es gab mehr als genügend Handtücher. Es fehlten nur ein Korkenzieher und ein Besen. Die Kommunikation mit unseren Gastgebern verlief leider nicht durchweg reibungslos. Per Mail wurden alle Anfragen freundlich von Domenico beantwortet. Vor Ort wurden unsere Anliegen teilweise von der Tochter und dem Sohn abgewiesen, was schade war.

What can you add to 'perfection' ?

My wife and I stayed at the Villa with our two sons and their partners for the week. It is a really great place to stay in San vito. Arrival and transport, check-in, even late at night, was perfect. While the view from the villa at night is special, it is only a small preview of the morning. Spectacular. The villa is perfect for 6 people. We would all thoroughly recommend if you are looking for somewhere just to chill out where you can be as active, adventurous or lazy as you wish.

Great Location

We stayed here in Spring. We still talk about the stunning sunrises that we were able to watch from the table on our terrace outside the cottage; they were extraordinary. It really was like you'd stepped into a paradise holiday brochure. It was a long walk around to the entrance to the conservation area coastline (a quick drive though), but well worth it. The cottage itself is well equipped and tastefully decorated. We cooked a couple of meals using fantastic local produce, but the restaurants in the local town a few minutes drive away provide a good choice of price and eating. My friend had been unwell, and it was just the tonic he needed, but it gave us both unforgettable images. We used it as a base to visit temples and countryside, but it was always a joy to come 'home'. I would highly recommend.

Una meraviglia

Viviamo in Germania e veniamo spesso in vacanza in Italia. Non conoscevamo questa parte della Sicilia. Abbiamo prenotato Il Casale per le foto affascinanti di questa struttura. Ma una volta arrivati questo angolo di paradiso ci ha conquistati!Villa meravigliosa,arredata con gusto e curata nei piccoli dettagli.10 e lode al giardino esterno ed alle terrazze da dove si può godere di un panorama mozzafiato! Abbiamo apprezzato anche l'ubicazione che permette di poter stare in perfetta tranquillità e allo stesso tempo comoda perché vicinissima a S.Vito. Abbiamo deciso di ritornare a settembre prossimo. Un ottimo mese per trascorrere una settimana di mare e relax.

Wunderbare Woche!!!

Die Bilder der Il Casale entsprechen vollkommen der Realität. Die Terrassen sind wunderbar und bieten einen tollen Blick auf Meer, Bergpanorama und Sternenhimmel. Man hat einerseits vollkommene Ruhe in dem Objekt, ist aber auch in wenigen Minuten am Strand oder in San Vito lo Capo. Das Appartement ist sehr schön eingerichtet und komplett ausgestattet - es fehlt an nichts. Selber kochen oder BBQ auf der Terrasse ist überhaupt kein Problem, zumal neben der Küchenausrüstung auch "basics" zum Kochen (Öl, Gewürze, Kräuter frisch aus dem sehr schön angelegten Garten...) vorhanden sind. Der Besitzer Domenico ist ein echt netter Kerl, der mit guten Tips zum Ausgehen, Essen oder Aktivitäten versorgt und fließend Englisch spricht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Een paradijs op aarde!

Domenico is de beste gastheer die je kunt bedenken; Attent, gastvrij en syphatiek. Als we hem nodig hadden was hij altijd beschikbaar en de tips die hij ons gaf hebben we allemaal opgevolgd en dat was de moeite waard! of het gaat om mooie wandelingen, bezoek aan Erice en Favignana, maar ook tips voor restaurants en gerechten! De accomodatie is architectonisch zeer bijzonder te noemen en de villa is geheel gerenoveerd, zeer stijlvol ingericht en alles is heel netjes en schoon. De villa is voorzien van alle luxe en comfort die je je maar kunt bedenken. Het terras is enorm en overal zijn fijne lounge zitjes om op ieder moment van de dag in de zon of juist in de schaduw te zitten. De tuin is een plaatje, met allemaal bloemen en kruiden. En het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend! 's morgens bij het ontbijt is er al zon op het terras. Goed bereikbaar en ook een prettige en handige uitvalsbasis om vanuit hier de westelijke kant van Sicilië te verkennen.

A privileged location in a magical place

First time in Sicily for our son's wedding so I wanted everything to be perfect. The first thing to notice is the view! It was stunning and we had a completely panoramic view of the sea. It was amazing having breakfast out on the terrace. We had everything we needed to cook meals (fridge, cooker, toaster) there's also a filter coffee machine and plenty of tea bags already there. The bedrooms are really cosy and it has plenty of storage space so you can unpack everything. The house was really beautiful with views to die for, very clean and pleasant interiors. Word of warning, take walking shoes as there are steps everywhere some quite risky. But you will get a real work out. If there were any issues it would be that there was no microwave in our house, but staff provided it a few hours later. We will definitely be back, and with friends next time.

incredible stay

My husband and I were touring Sicily with my parents and booked the Casale San Vito for our stay. I looked at nearly 50 apartments in San Vito before booking, as I wanted to make sure we would have an amazing view. We were not disappointed! It was like a postcard! I get the feeling that is a common place for photographers:) The house was very comfortable! We had everything we needed! The location is perfect! The sunset and sunrise was really beautiful from the terrace of the house. We absolutely loved this place. The house was very clean and had all the necessary utensils etc. (minus some olive oil) but everything can be easily bought at supermarkets in the village. We got a lot of peace and quiet with few tourists coming this side of the cliff face. After 1 hour in San Vito, we couldn't wait to get back to Casale and away from the throng of tourists! Only issue for us was no hook to hold the shower head but even that wasn't a big deal. Domenico kept in touch the whole time which was a bonus. Overall it was an incredible stay! Would definitely recommend!

Apartment mit herrlichem Meerblick!

Wir haben sehr schöne Tage in diesem Apartment verbracht. Mit 5 Personen hat man ausreichend Platz. Die Räume sind einfach, jedoch geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die terrasse ist ideal zum Sonnenbaden. Wir haben tolle Grill Abende gehabt und bis tief in die Nacht den Ausblick auf das Meer genossen. San Vito ist mit dem Auto ca. 5 min entfernt. Das Apartment hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Es war alles da, was man braucht, außer Eierbecher, die Domenico, die Besitzerin, jetzt sicher auch noch besorgen wird. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig und die Wohnung absolut gepflegt und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie auf jedem Fall weiter empfehlen! Eva und Michael

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht

Eigentlich können auch wir nur die überaus positiven Eindrücke und Bewertungen der vorherigen Bewerter bestätigen! Eine wirklich geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit einem schönen Balkon mit Meerblick und ganztägig Sonne sowie einer wundervollen terrasse! Betonen will ich neben der wirklich sehr guten Ausstattung mit nützlichen Dingen (jede Menge Küchenutensilien, Waschmaschine, Sonnenschirme und -Matten etc.), dass diese Wohnung auch wunderbar mit einem 16-monatigen Kind zu bewohnen ist! Nicht nur Babybett und Babystuhl und jede Menge Spielzeug waren vor Ort, auch sind der Balkon und die Terrasse durchaus babytauglich! Und wenn man dann auch noch ein Planschbecken für das Kleine auf der Terrasse aufstellt, steht einem ungetrübten Urlaubsvergnügen für Kind und Eltern nichts mehr im Wege! Absolut empfehlenswert

Nur zu empfehlen *****

Wir mieteten Casale San Vito für eine Woche. Es ist wirklich so schön wie auf den Fotos. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit Kochutensilien, Geschirr, Besteck, es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine für Wäsche. Die Wohnung ist gut möbliert. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung im Internet ist zutreffend. Die Warmwasserversorgung funktionierte prima, desgleichen der WLAN Empfang. Fernseher usw. haben wir nicht verwendet, man hätte aber auch deutsche Programme empfangen können. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Für Fotoliebhaber ist es eine exzellente Lage, denn man kann morgens zu Sonnenaufgang das beste Licht für Fotos im Ort nutzen, sobald man aus der Haustüre kommt. Ich war wirklich zufrieden jemals gemacht einen so schön Urlaub! Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort und waren uns alle einig, dort jederzeit wieder Urlaub zu machen. Einfach nur zu empfehlen!

Spectacular Outdoor Space

The best thing about this house is the views and the outdoor space. We spent most of our time outdoors and had all our meals outside as well. We were 2 families in 2 apartments. The larger aprtment with 3 bedrooms had a VERY small kitchen and bathroom area. The 2 bedroom apartment had much larger/nicer kitchen and bathroom space (although in the smaller apartment there was a mildew smell that never went away). We loved the area and day tripped to Trapani and Erice very easily. We rented a boat to see the nature reserve and it turned out to be the preferrable way to see it, rather then driving, parking and walking a long way. As peaceful as the setting was, the apartment not so much. The hotwater heater made a chirpping sound and it took us two nights to figure out what it was. It was finally quiet when we unplugged it... until it starting chirpping again. You MUST close off the water to stop the sound entirely, then there are no guarantees you won't hear your neighbor's in the middle of the night (as we did). The house was well stocked in the kitchen, but could use a few upgrades (pillows, blankets etc.) to freshen up the house. All and all it was a good trip but not as restful as I hoped due to the hot water heating system they use. Regarding the service, we did not require much but we did not find it exceptionally great and friendly as others have written. The second family arrived a day later (they did not speak Italian) and were not led to the house as promised and had a hard time finding it.

Dream villa , magical views

My stay was truly wonderful at this property. Domenico personally had everything arranged for me and my friends upon arrival. The villa was spectacular with beautiful interior design and the most breathtaking views . The location of the property was ideally suited for us (quiet and private with less tourists, but close to many beaches and wherever the action is ). If you want a dream place , spectacular views and best friendlier host and service this is the villa to stay in San Vito .Would return and highly recommend!

Tolles Villa mit traumhafter Aussicht

Wir durften zwei wunderschöne Wochen in dieser komfortablen, ruhigen und sehr sauberen Wohnung verbringen. Die Sonnenaufgänge über dem Meer, die wir von der Terrasse oder vom Wohnzimmer aus geniessen konnten, waren atemberaubend. Trotzdem empfehlen wir ein Auto, da die Anlage etwas ausserhalb der touristischen Zentren liegt. Wir können diese Wohnung mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

If you seek only the best !!

Great experience! Amazing view! Our house was clean, spacious and romantic.Staff extremely helpful.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful and excellent "Casale" and also in San Vito. The views were the best in the area, it was amazing to wake up every morning and see such beauty outside your door. I would recommend this to anyone.
