Sleeping 8 across four bedrooms; one super king bedroom with ensuite, two king size (one of which can be made up into a twin on request), and one twin room with family bathroom and additional downstairs toilet. In the heart of the house is an impressive light and airy fully fitted kitchen with all modern amenities, leading out through to the landscaped garden, a favourite place for guests to enjoy a morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening glass of wine. From the kitchen head through to a characterful dining room, a perfect place for family celebrations and creating those special holiday memories together.

Ivy Cottage offers plenty of spacious accommodation, enjoy the cosy ‘snug’ brimming with character and charm. Plus, additional lounge where you can spend an evening tucked up in front of the wood burner, with smart TV, Amazon Alexa and Wi-Fi included for your stay.

The cottage sits at the heart of the popular Lune Valley village of Casterton, next door to the 18th Century village coaching inn. Casterton has a 9-hole golf course open to non-members and set in beautiful scenery overlooking the town. There are many lovely local walks available from the doorstep with wonderful views all round.

Casterton is very close to Kirkby Lonsdale (a 35-minute pleasant walk or 5-minute drive). The town has many independent shops, bars and restaurants and Booths Supermarket. Home to Devils Bridge, a nature trail walk into the wooded gorge with spectacular views of the 300ft Mynach Waterfalls.

It’s a truly enchanting cottage full of period features, stunning gardens and contemporary comforts. With private parking for up to three vehicles, Ivy Cottage is a fantastic home from home to stay and unwind with children, grandparents and those of any age!
