Star Cottage, Whitstable

tar Cottage is a fabulous holiday home that has been lovingly restored by the owner and is full of charm with many beautiful interior design features. The soft colour palette of the interior creates a warm and welcoming environment to this pretty cottage and we are sure fabulous holiday memories will be created here. There is a cosy sitting room, and a large sociable open plan kitchen/dining room with doors leading out onto the garden, a downstairs shower room and upstairs are the two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom. Your four-legged friend is also welcome to join you. Whitstable is very dog-friendly with large stretches of the beach accessible all year round, and many cafes and pubs welcome dogs. Whitstable is a vibrant and buzzing seaside town, full of history and charm with a working harbour and fish market. It has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, a great live music scene in the local pubs and some great cafes and restaurants serving contemporary dishes including of course oysters which made Whitstable famous.

Whitstable short stay

Excellent absolutely spot on clean. Plenty of additional creature comforts. 2 bathrooms for 4 people is a luxury u dont get often in a holiday let. Great outside seating space. Close to the town. Great relaxing areas inside.

exceeded expectation

Star Cottage was lovely in every way. It was spotlessly clean and the owners had thought of everything. The bathrooms were luxurious and the mattress was the best I'd ever slept on. There is a delightful little courtyard garden which was great for the dog's sunbathing. Keepers Cottages answered questions very quickly. If I stay in the Whitstable area of Kent again, my first choice would be staying at Star Cottage via Keepers Cottages.

Stay at Star Cottage

A stylish, comfortable and clean cottage. The owners provided everything we needed. It was a pleasure to return from exploring the area every day. Whitstable is definitely worth visiting a unique town. One of our best holidays.

First timers on the Kent coast

The property is beautifully presented and the outside space a sun trap. There is everything you could need for a self catering stay however, one suggestion would be to arrange a space for cupboard groceries to be stored. Plenty of room in fridge and freezer but the cupboards are so well stocked with crockery, pots, pans etc that there is no space for dry goods. It is also very dog friendly, blankets left out to cover the furniture and treats left. Comfy beds and pillows. Easy walk to the high street and sea front. The only negative is that due to its situation the parking is very limited and if you go out for the day trying to find another space on return can be a little frustrating.

Very clean and cosy cottage

three adults stayed at the cottage to attend a memorial service. the cottage made the sad occassion bearable. Spotlessly clean. The only drawback was that the seating in the lounge was not that comfortable.

Great stay

Loved our stay at Star Cottage, over the last 3/4 years we’ve stayed in over 10 different holiday cottages and Star Cottage is by far the best we’ve stopped in, beautifully decorated & equipped nice location in a lovely town. Would highly recommend & a big well done to Keepers Cottages for excellent service

A beautiful interior

The interior of the cottage was beautiful with attention to detail everywhere . The decor was uplifting and contributed to the enjoyment of the stay. We were celebrating a birthday and had breakfast in the sunshine in the well equipped yard. An excellent stay for a girlie weekend with short walk to the restaurants and beach. The weekend was tricky to park near the cottage so we paid for a local car park and kept renewing as we did not use the car all weekend. Our dogs Karenza and Fleur loved the cottage and it was a perfect place for them to stay too !!!

Good location

Excellent location for the town and beach. Very comfy beds and beautifully decorated. Nice garden with patio seating with cushions. Parking is free if you can find a space, we were lucky and got one nearby. Excellent bus service to Canterbury and train service to Ramsgate.

Comfortable & stylish cottage

Lovely spacious cottage with stylish decor and attention to detail. Beds super comfortable! Great to have two bathrooms. Very clean and a welcome gift was a nice surprise. A ten min stroll to harbour. Easy access to high street with a plethora of independent shops. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Star Cottage. The house is comfortable and well equipped and beautifully done, feels like a real home from home. There is easy parking either outside the cottage or close by and it is a short walk into the centre of Whitstable. Keepers cottages have been really helpful with any queries. Would highly recommend, book now!

Wonderful cottage, excellent location

Star Cottage is a delight. Very comfortable and stylish. Thoughtfully designed. The two living areas were an unexpected bonus. We managed to park on the road, with no difficulty. Nice and warm.
