This basement home's unique collection of artefacts, paintings and traditional furniture, are reflective of its proximity to The British Museum, which is literally just outside the front door. Being able to sleep ten people at full capacity, this home is great value for friends or families wanting to be in the heart of cultural London without breaking the bank.
The Space:
Basement Flat - This well-lit apartment primarily occupies the basement/lower ground floor of the building where ceiling windows and plenty of lighting have created an inviting and cosy space. In the downstairs you will find 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen/dining area, whilst the large and functional living room is situated on the ground floor, where you will find a 55" Smart TV with Netflix.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entirety of the property.
The Neighborhood:
Bloomsbury is one of the last remaining quintessentially British neighbourhoods in London and is centred around The British Museum, one of the most iconic museums in the world which is literally on our doorstep. Bloomsbury is also the literary centre of London, JK Rowling’s publisher is just around the corner. There are also various lovely parks/squares a short walk away, such as Russell Square and Bloomsbury Square which are great to have a walk and enjoy the surrounding architecture in tranquillity. For those who enjoy shopping, eating out or nightlife the apartment is a ten-minute walk to Oxford Street, London’s renowned shopping district and Soho, where you can find great restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
Getting Around:
Tottenham Court Road Tube, Holborn Tube, The new Cross Rail, Cabs, Kings cross train station along with the good old 2 legs are all surrounding the property.
The property is located on Great Russell Street. The closest tube station is Tottenham Court Road located just a 5-minute walk away. If arriving by train into Euston, Kings Cross or Waterloo station this can be accessed by taking the Northern line on the London Underground System. If you are arrivng from Paddington Station use the Bakerloo line Southbound to Oxford Circus, before changing onto the Central line Eastbound to Tottenham Court Road.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking property.
-Strictly no parties or noise after 11pm.
