Borgo dei Sogni - Luxury Loft at Lake Garda

After many years of travelling, I decided to stop in San Felice del Benaco and offer other travelers a mix of what I have received over the years.

Blessed with a gentle microclimate, Lake Garda offers full Mediterranean experience in Northern Italy. The region offers so many things to see that you’ll never find yourself wondering what to do. The town of San Felice del Benaco consists of three ancient villages (borgo); San Felice, Portese and Cisano. You can visit small ports, gourmet restaurants, vineyards and olive tree plantations and breathe a relaxing atmosphere. Isola del Garda, the largest island is also part of San Felice. Nature lovers will feel right at home here, as the area offers a vast network of cycle routes and hiking trails. It is possible to drive around the entire lake, so you can tour it by car and by boat enjoying the many small towns that dot the shorelines of Lake Garda. From beaches to wine-tasting and roman ruins, from adventure activities to unique things to do like visiting poet D’Annunzio’s grandiose villa, the shores of Lake Garda will keep everyone happy. Borgo dei Sogni’s central location is also ideal to plan a trip to the nearby mountains or a multitude of cities like Milan (90 min), Verona (40 min) or Brescia, Italian capital of culture in 2023 (25 min).

Located at Lake Garda in the historic center of San Felice del Benaco, 'il Borgo dei Sogni' offers an unique Loft. The property dates back to early 19th century and has been thoroughly restored in 2003 and renovated in 2022. Special attention went out to preserving the historic character while assuring a high degree of modern comfort. The loft has an independent entrance. From the street, a passage leads your to the entrance gate with digital access code and a private internal courtyard. In the past, the internal courtyard used to be a public square called Piazza Umberto I (the square sign is still visible!). Guests can use the area to relax or park their bicycles. Special care went into creating "the feeling of home". You can recognize this from the warm and stylish design, to small details such as a welcome drink or a soft plaits to enjoy a breezy evening outside. You can expect quality matrasses, upscale bed linen and towels, as well as bathrobes and toiletries from a nearby local olive oil farm on lake Garda. The loft has a fully equipped kitchen and 2 Smart TV's, free Wi-Fi and free public parking at 150 meters from the property. Sheltered bicycle storage is available in the private courtyard. The property is located in a quiet street at only 150 meters from the church. You will find a variety of quality restaurants, bars and a supermarket within a short walking distance.
