Spacious 1st floor bright studio apartment 5km from beautiful town of Westport, 2km from Clew Bay. Quiet rural woodland setting with own balcony & views over valley. Beautiful walks on doorstep & Western Greenway nearby. Historical Westport, voted best place to live in Ireland, hosts numerous excellent restaurants, pubs & is a hub for exploring Mayo & Connemara. Blue flag beaches, Croagh Patrick, cycling, fishing, swimming, hiking, surfing, walks & golf nearby. 3rd person @ €30 extra per nt.
The space
Very quiet large bright apartment on elevated site overlooking owners' garden, farms, valley below with distant views of Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay. Kingsize bed, single bed, fully equipped kitchen, 2 sofas, WiFi and smart TV with Netflix. Owners reside part-time downstairs. Travel cot and additional single bed available by arrangement.
Guest access
This is the first floor studio apartment in a charming hillside cottage. Own door access to stairs, landing, studio apartment and own bathroom. Parking at house. Private balcony with table and chairs overlooking owners' garden. Access to private riverside decking with table and chairs. (Please note access is by rustic stone steps and care is advised.)
Other things to note
Luggage drop off allowed for early arrival by arrangement.

Àine and Joe are the best! We loved our stay here. They are very kind and gave us great recommendations. Westport is lovely. Would highly recommend a stay here! Close to national parks and lot of things to do. Great pubs in town. Rainbows off the balcony almost every morning

Beautiful stay in a beautiful area

Not only is the studio beautiful but Aine and Joe’s surrounding property is full of beautiful gardens and a view of fields and forests. Check in was easy and the apartment was equipped with everything you might need. Hands down our favourite stay of our trip. Lots of things to see and do nearby!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Àine, l'accueil a été très chaleureux avec de petites attentions très appréciées. Le logement est très confortable, très bien équipé et un point de départ idéal pour la découverte de Westport et sa région.

Lovely apartment with very nice hosts

We really enjoyed our time at the apartment. It’s very close to Westport and there are many different ways to explore the area like hiking to the top of Croagh Patrick, taking a boat trip through the bay or going swimming. We also really enjoyed the suggestion the hosts gave us to hike through Nephin.

Westport County Mayo Ireland

This property is beautiful, comfortable and well appointed! Close to Westport it had wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and beautiful gardens. The hosts were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.

Everything you need

Communication with Aine was excellent. Directions to Studio from Westport spot on. The Studio is amazing - there is so much space to walk around and it was great to sit on the balcony, especially in the evening as the sun was going down. Nice light airy room, comfortable bed and everything you needed in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There is a flight of stairs to the apartment which might be difficult for anyone with a walking disability. We loved it. Thank you.

I can't praise this property enough - great location, beautifully furnished in every respect, all mod-cons available, very clean, bright and warm. Just wished we could have stayed longer. Very highly recommended!

wonderful hosts lovely apartment

A quiet spacious place to stay. Calm and lovely ambience. Soothed us and restored our spirits. Delightful planted gardens with herbs and fruits. No sound at nights, just the nearby burbling river. Sloping site tucked against the woods and foothills of Croagh Patrick, with at least 3 easy walks from the house. Well laid out and equipped living space with enticing views to 'The Reek' and across the fields to Clew Bay. Fresh lovely drinking water - makes the morning tea taste so much better. Out from the bustle of Westport but near enough to go for shopping, meeting friends, and use as a base for exploring the fabulous county of Mayo.

Mountainside stay within minutes of city

This beautiful property is located on the side of a mountain and has multiple viewing points including from the mountain, a balcony and down by a flowing river. Fantastic location minutes from downtown Westport! Hosts are very accommodating, helpful and nice!

A special peaceful haven. Beautiful views, riverside relaxing decking, a calm oasis but yet so near the beautiful town of Westport, greenway, scenic drives, lovely walks and hikes on your doorstep. The perfect spot to explore all the renowned beauty spots of Mayo and Connemara. Numerous day trips to spectacular scenic spots eg as featured in the award-winning movie The Banshees of Inisherin are all accessible on a spectacular drive to Achill.
