Geweldige week gehad in een prachtig en comfortabel huis in een rustige omgeving. Een paar fijne eetgelegenheden direct in de buurt, verder vooral rust.De eigenares is bijzonder attent.

Ook zonder regenboog waren de luchten prachtig.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen

Sehr gemütliches Haus mit toller Sicht. Schöner großer Wohnbereich, gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile, super ruhige Lage und ein Fluss zum Schwimmen direkt vor der Tür. Uns hat es jedenfalls sehr gut gefallen.

Great House to relax in a calm area

We had an really nice holiday and beside our little findings (down below) we can acolutely recommend the house! The at least for us non typical House form is great and thanks to the really big windows there’s a lot of Light inside. The inventory is warm and cozy to live in and offers a lot of (perfumed) candles which cause even a better ambience. Thanks to a good equipted Kitchen there’s nothing in a way for a self-supported stay. The Bedrooms offer a lot of space and are very comfortable. And for the cold days there are even some very fluffy and cozy blankets to warm up. The neighborhood is very quiet for calming evenings. I recommend a stay by bike or you have to use the car a lot – beside the OverDaips Restaurant nearby even the next bakery is aroung 6km away. I’d also mention the very quick response from the owner to our questions before and while our Stay! The only point that needs improvement is the weeds on the terrace and the cleanliness of the bathroom & toilet room. When we arrived, we unfortunaltely found a lot of (water) stains in the shower, the tiles and mirrors. Everything quickly fixed with a few handles and doesn’t seems to be unhygienic, but still should not be that way in our point of view. As already mentioned beside that was the house a great place to stay!

Excellent place!

We enjoyed our stay in the grass roof house. It was just as advertised and was bigger than we thought. We were able to make it our homebase for all our adventures in the province of Groningen. There were lots of dishes, pots and pans in the kitchen. The dining table was huge and the living room had plenty of space. We also enjoyed the outside area when the weather was warm enough. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

Het huisje heeft een prettige sfeer! Een lekker weids uitzicht. Fijn bad, douche is redelijk klein. Rustige omgeving. Wel auto (of fietsen) nodig. In de omgeving van alles te doen. Als je van thee houdt ga dan zeker even naar de theefabriek in Houwerzijl!

We, Andre and Reinalda, are born and lived our youth in this area. We love the bride view, the dark nights, the overwelming silens. We left this region for work, but as you know home is where your heart is. After all those years living in the center of the Netherlands we love to go back home.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This part of Groningen is the most Beautiful. Nearby The Waddenzee, the national park Lauwersoog, the city Groningen with lot’s of students, cafés, culture etc. We love to swim in the river nearby our house. And even it’s on the country side you can walk to two Nice restaurants.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

It has a roof of clay and grass. It looks like a bunker from the outside, or a hobbit home as some one even called it, but you’ll be surprised about the inside; light, cosy and bright.
