Yorkshire Gate Lodge - Secluded holiday cottage on the Wolds Way

Yorkshire Gate Lodge is the perfect retreat for walking & biking holidays.

The sympathetically renovated & comfortable lodge offers easy access to the Yorkshire Wolds Way; a National Trail that winds through some of the most tranquil English countryside.

Located in the hamlet of Raywell, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in nature & soak up the country atmosphere.

There is a cafe only a short walk away. We’re conveniently located for Cottingham, Beverley, Hull, York & the Yorkshire Coast.

The space

You'll have access to the entire property including a lounge, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, bathroom (inc bath and separate shower) and wash room (traditional high-level WC and sink). There’s also a secure storage room for your bikes and/or walking gear. While the master bedroom offers a superking divan, it can be set up as a twin on request. The second bedroom has two twin divans.

The outdoor space includes a spacious outdoor patio area and off-street parking.

We’re confident you’ll find everything you need at the gate lodge for the perfect stay including quality linen, towels, iron/board and a hair-dryer.

While we are pet-friendly, please keep your four-legged friends off the furniture, including the beds.

Guest access

Guests have full use of the lodge and associated garden. The gardens to the rear of the lodge are part of a private family home and aren’t included in the listing.

Other things to note

A car is a required. This is a rural location (no public transport) so a car is essential.
Smoking isn’t permitted inside or outside the lodge.

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external cameras located at the front door and the electric gates.
