Cute Maltese Townhouse style duplex apartment with separate entrance from the street. Tucked away in the west side of the city, with light, bright interiors, fresh and full of character. It is set on one of the prettiest streets in historic Valletta, yet a 2-minute walk to the seafront, Marsamxetto Harbour and the ferry to take you to Sliema.
The entrance is from a separate private door from the street level, with high ceiling and exposed stone arches. Ceramic floors and white washed walls, flooded with natural daylight. All newly renovated in March 2019.
There is a bedroom on the street level with an ensuite shower. A separate kitchen with dining area at the entrance, with glassware, pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, an induction hob, fridge/freezer, convection oven and Nespresso machine, everything you need to make a delicious meal.
On the lower floor, there is a sofa in the living/TV room. A separate toilet and sink are available in the lower area too with a flat screen TV. Steps away…Valletta is packed with excellent restaurants, cafes’ and places to relax over food and drinks, plus food markets and quaint local delicatessens.
Ideal Holiday rental, just 2 minutes walk to the seafront, Marsamxetto Harbour and the ferry to take you to Sliema and the Grand Harbour on the other side. Fully renovated in 2019.

For Carmelita’s founders, couple Nadine Pecorella and Kenneth Camilleri, it was their chance to create what they felt is an ideal island and city vacation accommodation combined to perfection. It was always their dream to own and run a historic property, offering accommodation to travellers in a unique setting. They had been searching for the right property for years, until in 2017, they came across this run-down unique neo-classical townhouse in the heart of Valletta, with great potential.
Nadine comes from a hotel background, studied Tourism and Hotel Management and worked in various top 5* luxury hotels in Malta and overseas, before setting up her own Destination Management company in 2012, called BLOOM! connecting places + people. Her genuine passion for hospitality is in her blood and it has always been part of her lifestyle. Kenneth, her husband travelled around the globe and it was his chance to create a product that ticked most boxes for an ideal vacation rental. Their shared frustration at the hospitality’s shortcomings, and their refusal to compromise on ideas, quality and service standards, brought them to this original concept of Carmelita Valletta.
