Escape to a romantic getaway in the Sanderling with its king sized bed, overlooking Beadnell Bay. With its cosy log burner to keep you snug and warm after a dip in the Wood Fired Hot Tub. If that is not enough, the stunning glass ceiling above the bed enables you to continue star-gazing long into the night. From inside and outside you can enjoy stunning views across Beadnell bay and Seahouses. The Sanderling is situated on the outskirts of Beadnell Village with views across the fields towards the sea.

Beadnell bay

We always have such a lovely time , it's very cosy with the log fire burning ! The weather wasnt the best but there was was still loads to do .. the long walks along the beeches and the great pub atmosphere at the end was fantastic , all the local people & holiday makers were super friendly .. The cabin was amazing with everything we needed , thanks for such a lovely stay & we will be definitely coming back.

Lovely stay

A lovely little bolt hole within great proximity to Seahouses and Bamburgh. A little too close to the main road to make it secluded. Everything you could need for a short stay and the glass roof is delightful. Set the fire going, knock the lights off and look at the stars.

The Sanderling Shepherds Hut Beadnell Northumberland

Great location with sea view. Lovely wood burner kept us cosy and warm as toast. Nice welcome gifts of Prosecco and chocolate which went down a treat. Fenwick the dog loved his stay too. Will definitely book again.

A Beautiful Escape

Beautiful stay at The Sanderling. There are fabulous views and stunning sunrises/sunsets to be seen. We enjoyed feeling tucked away yet still close enough to enjoy the local areas. we visited Bambrough and Seahouses whilst here. In our opinion there are good road routes and public transport if you would prefer to drive over walk although we did a mix of both. Great pubs serving good food just a short walk away if you don't fancy cooking a perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. When the skies are clear, the Dark Skies are amazing - take the time to switch off , enjoy the natural skies and relax! We loved and understood the whole concept, beautifully hand‑crafted and eco‑friendly, made from reclaimed materials, insulated and designed to blend luxury with a back‑to‑nature feel. The added touches of robes and towels for both the shower and hot tub were perfect to allow travelling lighter!

Just came back from this gem, we had a brilliant time, the host thought of everything, the hot tub was Amaizing and im going to miss falling asleep gazing at the moon and stars! Did i mention so peaceful i will definitely be returning! Thank you for a lovely stay

Fabulous stay in shepherds hut. Stunning views and beautiful cosy place to unwind and enjoy nature . Stargazing on a night before bed through the glass roof and chilling in the lovely garden in hot tub and sitting round fire on a night in one of our favourite parts of the country it’s just amazing. We just love this place !

What a great little gem

We really couldn’t have asked for more. Our stay was just the tonic that we needed. It was very comfortable and clean. The wood fired hot tub was an absolute treat as was the star gazing window above the bed. Everything we needed was there. A very comfortable stay. That bed… OMG! What a couple of great nights sleep. Location is excellent for everything you need and want to explore. Beautiful place to be. Thank you xx We will definitely be booking again.

Fantastic views

Sanderling is in a great position with wonderful views. We enjoyed walking to the village and along the beaches. The salt water cafe and the courtyard cafe are both dog friendly and serve great food.Relaxing in the hot tub on a clear night watching the stars was an amazing experience. We'll definitely return to Beadnell, it's a beautiful place and very welcoming.

Great time at the Sanderling

Had a great weekend staying at the Sanderling , great weather, fantastic location with plenty of places to eat nearby. Enjoyed the hot tub and the view was lovely. Good parking and easy access and all information was clear and easy to follow from the website or app.
