Great Location - But Certain Disappointments
Location was a 10/10. Walkable to city center. Amazing views.
But the room itself left a lot to be desired. There was mold on the walls in the bathroom and bedroom. Hot water lasted between 1 and 2 minutes before turning cold. Toilet seat was broken. WiFi instructions were completely incorrect. We had to look at the router to get the correct log in details.
We found out after checking in that Italy has laws regarding when you can turn on heat. Understandable, however, the heater they provided had no adapter, and the only outlet that would work was in the middle of the kitchen.
We were a bit cold durning our stay. Thankfully they provided more than one comforter, but the point still stands.
Kitchen was decently stocked. You could cook here, though it might be less than optimal for some.
We both got sick during our stay - may be unrelated, but given the mold, who’s to say. My fiancé is susceptible to mold and began coughing and sneezing after the first 24 hours. When we mentioned the mold, we were told to just open the window when using the shower. It is a very humid and moist area, but mold is something that should be taken care of.
The stay was affordable. The location was fantastic. Perhaps it’s better in the summer (our stay was in October). I think that there is room for improvement for future stays!
