Villa Eleni is an inspiring 2-bed villa with a private swimming pool with most amazing seaviews and sunset views. It is built next to nature, surrounded by olive groves. It is located just about 10mins walk from Athani village and within 3-6mins walk from 3 tavernas, and next to 3 of the best and well-known beaches of Lefkada such as Porto Katsiki (8kms), Egremni beach (2kms), Gialos beach (3km) whereas numerous other beaches may be found to the north.

Lovely place to stay

Absolutely lovely villa. Quiet area and walking distance to local tavernas. Really lovely people who couldn’t be more helpful and the villa has everything you need. The sunsets are gorgeous!!

Quiet with lovely sunsets

The villa has beautiful views of the sea and sunset and is situated very close to the best beach on the Island. The owner and family are very nice and own a taverna up the road working many hours. They are new owners and this year has been a difficult one with the Corona Virus. The villa is rustic and could do with a bit of maintenance & pampering which we are sure it will in time. When we faced problems with electrics the owners tried to help us when possible. Nothing unresolved ruined our holiday. Hoping a new year brings a better season for them all.

Wunderschöner Ausblick

Wir haben die untere Villa gebucht. Die Übergabe war zügig und freundlich. Das Haus war in sauberem und einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Lage ist einmalig, direkt über dem Meer, umgeben von Bäumen. Unten eine kaum befahrene Strasse. Wir genossen die Ruhe, die einmalige Aussicht sowie die grosse Terrasse mit privatem Pool. Die Einrichtung der Küche ist sehr einfach, ein paar Pfannen, Teller, Besteck und Gläser. Die 2 Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten und gut funktionierender Klimaanlage und Balkon. Das Bad mit Toilette ist klein und zweckmässig. WLAN war sehr langsam und immer wieder unterbrochen. Nikos und Crew waren bemüht den Aufenthalt möglichst angenehm zu gestalten, nicht aufdringlich, wenn sie jedoch gebraucht werden sind sie zur Stelle. Die nächste kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist ca. 5 Fahrminuten entfernt. Grössere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 20 Fahrminuten entfernt. Mehrere Tavernen sind in der näheren Umgebung (Nikos Taverne Greco Levante ist sehr zu empfehlen). Ein Auto ist ein Muss. Wir haben den Aufenthalt (8 Nächte) sehr genossen.

Villa overlooking the Ionian Sea

We enjoyed a week with the family in Villa Eleni. The property is well maintained and in a beautiful spot in an olive grove high above Egremni Beach. Nikos, who works in his family restaurant Greco Levante not far from the villa does a very good job in taking care for his guests. Elena who is your contact to manage the reservation is very forthcoming. Villa Eleni is an excellent getaway to enjoy a quiet vacation in a beautiful setting. Visitors should notice the following: 1. A car is mandatory. Though distances are short on the island of Lefkada, the winding roads are taking a lot of time to get to the larger villages. You shouldn't be worried about steep and slim streets and be prepared to use gravel roads to get to some places. A micro market is close in Appollonioi, all super markets, bakeries and shops are further away. 2. The beach of Egremnis is closed due to road damage by an earthquake a couple of years ago. It may reopen next year. Beach lovers have to plan a drive to Porto Katsiki (which is crowded) or Gialos Beach (which is a larger pepple beach) down the cliffs. You may enjoy the beautiful pool instead. 3. The wifi connection in the house, though DSL cable, is spotty. LTE with your cell phone works well. Sattelite TV with international channels didn't work while we were visiting (or we didn't put enough effort in making it work) Enjoy the outdoors instead. 4. The kitchen is well equipped, though you may miss some utensils. 5. The beds are nice, firm and good. 6. The patio and terasse is great and offers beautiful views with exceptional sunsets. Definitively the place to enjoy your vacation. We really would like to come back in the future and can recommend villa Eleni (or the house above) to everyone seeking a retreat in a secluded part of the island. Frank and Family

Wonderful, peaceful villa with great view and pool

We had a wonderful , relaxing time with our family at the villa. It is very peaceful, the view is amazing, the terrace is very spacious with inviting places to sit and lie. The villa is well kept and located within easy reach to various beaches or walks. We appreciated the friendly, welcoming and always helpful family that runs the house! A place we would like to recommend or come back ourselves

Wonderful holliday

We had the best of times at Villa Eleni. We are a family of 4, mum, dad and two girls age 12 and 14. The villa was perfect for us. Some days we just chilled by the great pool, and other days we explored the Island and it's beaches. The villa is perfect, clean and well maintained. And the view's..... wow!!! Mila is the sweetest person you can imagen, so kind and helpfull. We miss the place allready and cand by hart recomend the villa for others. Hope to come back again!

Amazing Holiday

We had a perfect week in Athani and Villa Eleni. This is such an excellent place to get away from it all and experience relaxation, beautifull sunsets, great food at Greco Levante and really nice hospitality from the family who owns this place. We all would love to come back here someday.

Perfect Holidays

We had an absolutely relaxing stay at this pleasant place. Anna, Nicos and the rest of the Family were very hospitable and the villa in combination with the pool and the sunsets (!!) made our stay perfect. Thank you for everything, maybe we´ll see each other again :) Bianca, Sarah, Alex and Markus

Best sunset

We spent 10 comfortable days in Athani at the Villa Eleni. The location was like in the pictures not luxury but private, clean, good value for money with an amazing view to the sea, with very nice flowers and aromatic plants around the house and terrace (lavender, rosemary …). Imagine to have the dinner under the pavilion accompanied by the fragrance of the aromatically plants and looking over the sea at ones of the best sunset’s …. Well it’s like that at Eleni. And if you decide to stay at the villa or just pass by the Athani village don’t forget to pass by Greco Levante tavern especially if is not full season. I was in many places but at Greco Levante we really enjoy the taste of the food.

Relaxing and unforgettable vacation

We spent a really lovely week at the Villa Eleni in the village of Athani. The location was just right for us: serene and real private with an amazing view to the sea over the olive groves. The sunsets were some of the most beautiful ones we´ve ever experienced. We spent our time at the pool, and we toured around the island by car. We will never forget the waterfalls and the trip to the scenic routes of the mountain range. We got good service at the Greco Levantes tavern,as they were also able to tend to my special gluten-free diet. The owner Anna and her husband made sure we enjoyed ourselves. We heartily recommend Villa Eleni to everyone and maybe we´ll come back here ourselves.

Superb getta way

The house is as the pictures shows, it is beautiful and has everything what you need. It has a spacious swimming pool with a jacuzzi. The view is superb looking over the sea. Under the gazebo you can eat with the great view. Every evening you will have the best sunset......at your own home. It is clean and the owner cleans it every three days. They always ask for the right time to do. We recommend this house to everybody it brings really value for money and more.....
