Beautifully positioned farmhouse overlooking hills and sea

Achalic Farmhouse was previously a traditional working farmhouse that has been recently renovated to a modern style holiday home but also keeping its features throughout. The large windows from the living room onto the patio provide expansive panoramic views across the surrounding fields, water and hillsides dotted with sheep and the beautiful woodlands beyond.

This farmohouse is ideal for families looking for gatherings, holidays and celebrations. This comfortable house can accommodate 10 guests in five bedrooms, one of which is located on the ground floor. It has a warm, homely feel with lots of character, a woodburning stove in the lounge and an outdoor bath tub.

Beautifully situated within the Lerags Glen, offering complete rural peace and quiet, yet very convenient for Oban just ten minutes’ drive to the north. Achalic Bheag cottage is also situated just down the drive making it the ideal combination for bigger families wanting to get together as you have your own place to head to at night after the games have ended.

Perfect Place for a family holiday

Great for all the family. It suits both a more active or more relaxed holiday. The Games room was really fun to have. And the outdoor baths were great. The lounge was super cosy and inviting. The view from the property is stunning. It is such a peaceful and serene location. Would definitely book Achalic Farm again.

Achalic Farmhouse

The property was a rural location with great views. It was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. We went to “The Barn restaurant nearby and enjoyed drinks and a meal. If you like quiet and rural this property is ideal. We had sunny weather so spent time outdoors which would have benefited from more relaxing chairs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent family house

We had a lovely family holiday in this beautiful house. Plenty of space and activities for children, dogs and grandparents to enjoy. Clean and well equipped to cater for our needs. Games room was popular as was the outside baths to relax and take in the wonderful views. Good location for shops, trips out and lots of wildlife to see. We recommend this house and hopefully be back soon.

Ideal for family groups

Achalic Farmhouse is a lovely peaceful location close enough to the amenities of Oban to ensure you can always have all you want available. The space inside and out is big enough to accommodate 10 without feeling crowded. All the equipment you might want for catering is provided and in good condition. We would recommend the house to any family group

Comfortable country stay

Great farmhouse located a short drive from Oban. The house had lots of amenities and was kitted out in the kitchen which is always a bonus as we all love to cook. The surrounding landscape was both peaceful and beautiful and we would love to visit again. Thanks for letting us share your lovely home.

A fantastic stay in every way

We booked to stay over Chritmas as we had already had am unforgetable stay in June. We, being a family of 10 and a dog. We were not disappointed. The property its self is beautiful,spacious,immaculately clean with stunning views. The most comfortable beds in big, light and airy bedrooms. The kitchen was well enough equipped to cook a full Christmas dinner for 10. Which we enjoyed infront of a roaring fire in the dinning room. The hot tub is bliss and the outdoor baths and games room are a welcome extra. The vibe is sunptuous yet homely. The real tree was a lovely touch. We will most definately be back. Thank you for another fantastic stay. There are also so many breath taking walks. Literally on the doorstep. With Oban a short drive away.

A lovely house with glorious views, solidly built and well equipped

We had a wonderful stay - thank you - we will definitely be back! The house is very well equipped, very comfy beds with lovely white linen. Perhaps swimming towels would be a good addition? We had to borrow some in order not to risk getting the beautiful white towels dirty!

Nice Family House

Lovely newly renovated Farmhouse well equipped for ten. Nice location plenty of room in garden and views over Loch. Some difficulty accessing coastline. We all enjoyed staying here. Had a good time.
