This is a beautiful spot to be outside whether you like to wander around the wooded paths or take a stroll along the South West Coast route. When you're ready to travel farther, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are only 11 miles away, and Weymouth, with its lovely coastline and a wide variety of eateries, is 7 miles to the west. If you can drag yourself away from the undeveloped beach, the Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World Rescue, and Tyneham Village all offer intriguing and varied day trips close to Ringstead.
