Getting Around:
Quarteira is pretty easy to get around. The apartment is close to all amenities and you can easily reach most of them by walking. There is a bus- and taxi stop just outside the door. A taxi to neighbouring Vilamoura and it´s famous Marina costs around 5-10 Euros. There are also car hire companies in Quarteira if you want to hire a car and drive around the Algarve. You have a fish and fruitmarket a couple of kilometers away and a avenue at the beach that you can stroll around on in the evenings and just enjoy the fresh salty air and have a drink at any of the many pubs and cafes.
If you bring the family and want to give the children a fun experience, except having fun on the lovely beach you reach two large water parks in only 30 min.
