Halsall is a pretty village in the heart of west Lancashire midway between the bustling market town of Ormskirk and the Victorian seaside resort of Southport. Cyclists and walkers can explore for miles along this part of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and golf enthusiasts can enjoy a game at Hesketh Golf Club which has stunning views over the Irish Sea or the world-renowned Royal Birkdale. For those who enjoy history and culture, the nearby city of Liverpool offers a wealth of museums, galleries, and historic buildings, including the famous Liver Building and the Liverpool cathedral. Aside from golf the seaside town of Southport offers miles of sandy beaches, traditional seaside attractions, and a bustling pier.
