This beautiful villa Casa Ferradura is surrounded by a large garden full of fruit trees with beautiful views of the hills with its own private pool set within a pond with only the peaceful noise of nature around. It has a covered terrace seating area, a shaded hammock area, loungers by the pool, and various areas to explore the fruit trees and vines. The setting is stunning and relaxing.
The villa comprises of three bedrooms, two bathrooms with a beautiful open plan large living area and kitchen.
It is in a rural position in the hills along an 8 minute drive of unpaved road known for it’s beautiful walking trails through the Serra: oak orchards, yet it is only 40 mins from Faro and 30 mins from Tavira and many beautiful sandy beaches. The local towns of Sao Bras de Alportel and Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo are 10-20 mins away.
The villa is beautifully maintained, simple yet stylish . The main house with its high ceiling open plan sitting room, dinning room and kitchen has one bedroom with a super king bed and bathroom with bath and shower. A few metres away in a separate guest annex there are two more bedrooms, one double and one with two single beds plus a separate bathroom. The beds have good quality mattresses .
There tends to be a welcoming breeze in the hills and it’s easy to end up just relaxing by the pool for days on end enjoying the views and walking in the local area however there are plenty of sandy beaches, bustling towns and activities to explore within an easy drive . There is very good WiFi. Due its location a car is essential
This property is only suitable for adults or families with older children and good swimmers due to the large deep pool and pond and the bedrooms are in a close but separate building. The pond is full of wildlife including fish, frogs and terrapins. It is a very private property . We are not on site but easily contactable.
