Bienvenido a Buck Brook Valley. Nuestra propiedad ofrece 2 casas de campo encantadoras en 52 acres aislados con un lago privado hecho por el hombre de 9 acres. Un gran lugar de reunión para familiares y amigos.

Caminata a lo largo de senderos anchos a través de bosques profundos. Nade desde la gran plataforma flotante, use uno de los kayaks o botes de remos o pruebe la pesca en nuestro hermoso lago de 9 acres alimentado por la primavera. Escoja arándanos mientras disfruta de un paseo sin prisas por el camino de hierba despejada que rodea el lago. Lea un libro o simplemente relájese en el mirador mientras disfruta de las hermosas vistas del lago. Barbacoa en el gran patio de piedra con parrilla a gas, mesas al aire libre, sombrillas y muchas sillas cómodas. Reúnase en el amplio y espacioso césped para un juego de bádminton, voleibol o croquet. Cuando se ponga el sol, relájese con la familia y los amigos junto al fogón del lado del lago. La casa más grande duerme 13 y la casa más pequeña duerme 7. Perfecto para reuniones familiares o reuniones con amigos.
La casa de campo más grande tiene una gran sala de reuniones con una mesa de comedor de 9 pies, mesa de billar, piano y cómodos asientos. Una sala de televisión con TV de pantalla plana grande. Una acogedora sala de estar, una cocina comedor. 3 dormitorios en la planta baja (1 rey con baño privado, 1 reina y 1 dormitorio con 2 camas individuales). Un baño completo y un porche de sol completan el 1er piso. El segundo piso tiene 2 dormitorios (1 habitación en dormitorio y 1 habitación con literas grandes para 5 personas (excelente lugar para niños)

La casa más pequeña, una casa de campo renovada de 1910, tiene una cocina comedor con braguitas, sala de estar, dormitorio con cama grande, baño completo y terraza en el primer piso. El segundo piso tiene 1 dormitorio grande con 3 camas individuales (ideal para niños) y 2 dormitorios pequeños con una cama doble.

Ambas casas tienen un área de lavado con lavadora y secadora.

Cerca de Jeffersonville y Roscoe con excelentes restaurantes, micro-cervecería y destilería. Golf y tenis en el cercano lago Tennanah. Los pescadores! Estamos a 5 minutos en coche de la Beaverkill.
Cerca de Bethel Woods y del museo y casino Woodstock Resort World Catskill
10 minutos de la salida 94 en la ruta 17

Great quiet place. Our entire family enjoyed the stay at the Farmhouses. Kayaks, paddle board, boating and fishing wonderful. Night sky spectacular. Walks around the lake, just sitting in the gazebo very relaxing. Fire every night, sitting around the firepit, enjoying toasted marshmallows. Two farmhouses very well stocked, pots and pans, spices for cooking, very clean. We all sat and barbequed at the patio of the larger farmhouse, Grandkids enjoyed everything. Grocery store, short ride into town. We all enjoyed the Roscoe dinner and nearby breweries. If you are looking for a quiet enjoyable vacation this, is it. Karen was always in touch to make sure all went well.

This property was amazing. We do a college reunion every year.. this was our first year doing it at this location. Karen(who we organized the stay with) was super helpful and very accommodating. The property was large to houses with pleanty of room for our group. The lake was great for keeping the kids, and who am I kidding, most of the adults busy. You could fish, paddle board, kayak, and there are even a couple row boats. Outdoor eating space was great and so was the indoor space.. my wife is a big baker, so have the mixer, and the muffin tins where great.. both kitchens had everything you could need though. Just a really fun place and great for a little un winding with friends.. highly recommend… and there is already talk of doing it again!

A space for everyone

Our group of 4 families had an amazing long weekend here. The lake was the perfect size for swimming, boating and play. The fire pit was a great size with ample chairs. The porches were serene, and there were so many cozy rooms and places to stretch out to relax. The houses were well stocked, the check out process easy, and comfortable. The proximity to the town was a plus. Overall, a wonderful getaway!

Vacation Perfection

Both houses were well stocked as was the lake with large mouth bass,perch, and assorted sun fish, the kids and adults enjoyed jumping off the dock and the lake was very clean and the swimming was perfect. I especially enjoyed walking around the lake in the early mornings,it was very peaceful and serine, and of course everyone enjoyed the campfires at night and although we could have scoured the woods for wood we contracted through Karan the property manger to have wood delivered by “ Lou who had a quarter of a cord stacked and ready to burn,! All in all it is a perfect vacation getaway, and least I forget the few times that I had a question and called the property manger Karen she answered by the third ring or promptly returned the call.

Vacation 2022

This was our families 2nd vacation at this property and we have already booked it again for 2023! We can’t say enough about how much we love it! The lake and grounds afford us the room to be together and also space enough to have quiet time when needed. Karen is one of the best hosts

Yearly College Reunion

Our group of 12 really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property, which could have slept even more. The lake/pond was awesome and we used the fire pit most nights. The hosts provide plenty of good quality supplies like paper towels, TP etc. and both kitchens had lots of cookware. Milano Cookies and wrapped soaps/toiletries were a nice touch. We made most of the ice for our coolers using the generous number of ice trays in the bigger house. They recently upgraded WiFi in the Big House and our tech friends were impressed… The Little House is a bit less capable but fine for basic needs. One negative for us was a musty smell in parts of the larger house (TV room and basement quite bad) and some were also impacted (nasal congestion, watery eyes, sneezing) in the main gathering space. The smaller house seemed fine, as did all of the bedrooms. Still, we considered returning next summer because the positives outweighed the negatives for many of us… Pool table a big hit!

Amazing Family Reunion at the Perfect Place!

For the first time in four years our family could get together with ages ranging from 4 months to 79 and this home was the perfect place to accommodate everyone and make it a very special time. The 2 houses are outfitted extremely well with everything you could imagine needing. The indoor and outdoor spaces are terrific for allowing a large group to all be together as well as having various spots for small groups to enjoy some needed alone time. The beds were all very comfortable, the kitchens have everything that is needed for great meals, the outdoor dining & BBQ area made for a perfect place for all our cooking and meals, and even on the one occasion we had to do dinner indoors the big table in the big house fit all 15 who needed a spot at the table! The host was fantastic and very responsive, answering all our questions very quickly ahead of time and providing easy ways to be in contact throughout our stay. The grounds around the house are beautiful, well-groomed by Lou and we took full advantage of the path around the lake as well as the lake to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Fishing was a hit even though it was not something we had planned to do! A visit to the Alpaca farm 3 mins away was well worth it too for the younger ones. The stores are 10 - 15 mins away which is also super convenient for when you have to restock. We have been doing lake house reunion vacations with my family for almost 10 years now and this was by far the best one ever thanks to this wonderful summer getaway spot! We can't wait to be back next year.

Beautiful property for our family reunion!

With spacious accommodations and ample recreation activities with the lake, we couldn't have found a better spot to get our family together. Our Host Karen was both accommodating and responsive. Thank you very much and we'll be back!

The houses were beautiful. They were stocked with anything and everything you might need. Karen immediately responded to questions I had. The lake was gorgeous. We were there with 4 generations... a good time was had by all. We will be back.

2021 Family Vacation

We chose this property because of the size. We range from ages 6 to 82 spanning 4 generations. The houses were everything that we had hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to have fabulous weather for the majority of the week so were able to enjoy the lake every day and evening, some even enjoyed a night swim on our last night there. We were happy to see that the fire pit was large enough for all of us to gather around comfortably. The cell service for some was non-existent but no one complained and the wifi, while spotty at the large house, was more than sufficient at the small house. The only bad thing was having to leave. We all agreed that this was by far the best place we have been and would definitely return!

Quality time galore

This property was exactly what our family needed. It's remoteness & lack of cell phone reception/ wifi connection allowed us to be present & spend much needed quality time together. The houses were extremely clean & offered all the amenities of home. We had so much fun swimming, boating, fishing & playing pool. Karen was great to work with & very responsive to our needs. We were so thankful to have found this place.

Wonderful and relaxing time

Despite the storms later in our stay, it was wonderful. We went with a group of friends and everyone had a great time, parents and kids. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of room, lots of games, pool table, and of course the lake. Would definitely recommend.

Highly Recommend for Large Groups, Great All Around Experience!

Buck Brook Valley exceeded our expectations for a long weekend with our group of 18. The two houses were clean and well appointed with all the necessities one needs for large gatherings. Air conditioning in the upstairs bedrooms made for cool and restful sleeping. The patio with two large tables and umbrellas were ideal for big breakfasts and dinners. Nothing is better than playing yard games and then jumping in to the private pond for a float. We also landed a bunch of fish right off the dock! Everyone in our group agreed that Buck Brook is a hidden gem! Thanks Karen!

Had A Great Time At This Beautiful Property!

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful place to relax and unwind, and we found it here! Well maintained property that was well stocked and very comfortable. On the property we enjoyed scenic hikes, fishing, fires by the lake and playing pool. When we ventured out, there were nearby farmers markets, restaurants and breweries that we thoroughly enjoyed! Karen was a pleasure to deal with, and her brother Ted gave me some great fishing tips! Highly recommend this vacation property for couples and families, you will not be disappointed.

A little piece of heaven on earth

The title says it all! Owners are succeeding in creating a beautiful vacation experience. There were thoughtful touches throughout the property. Our overall rating will be five stars when the windows in the great room are updated. Looking forward to a return visit soon!

Magical place on the lake

We had a wonderful stay. The property was better than described. The kitchen was easy to make large meals for 4 families. We biked, swam, walked and relaxed. It was the perfect place for a family getaway.

Idyllic Getaway

We loved our time at Buck Brook Valley. We hung out in the private lake every day and ate dinner on the patio every night. Things to account for before traveling: 1. Only one house has WiFi, so the signal in the other house is very weak, and 2. There’s no air conditioning on the ground floors, so if you visit during a heat wave, you’ll want to think about how to stay cool.

Wonderful

Incredibly peaceful setting. We had a great week on the lake. The fishing was excellent and the water was clean and refreshing. The houses were comfortable and well equipped. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. This is a perfect spot to get away from it all and recharge with friends and family.
