Swordale Stays. Self Catering Holiday Cottage in the Highlands of Scotland

The cottage is in a small, quiet hamlet two miles up the hill from Evanton village. It is actually part of a converted farm steading consisting of ten cottages, all made of natural stone. Ours is the only one fortunate enough to have a vaulted ceiling and Juliet balcony on the first floor, where the lounge is situated. Bespoke wooden beds and shelves for bathroom basins. Fantastic kitchen with breakfast bar and en-suites with walk-in showers, and one with a slipper bath. A cosy courtyard with heating and lighting and a covered pergola. This is a great place to stay and use as a base to explore, or stop off for a few days while driving the NC500. Whilst our cottage sleeps 4 - one king-size room and one double room - we do have a single fold-up bed (which can be put up in the living room) and a travel cot - both are available upon request when booking. https://swordalestays.com
