The living areas in this holiday home consist of a kitchen/diner equipped with range cooker with oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and breakfast bar and a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double and twin serviced by a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside there is roadside parking available and an enclosed garden with patio, lawn and external gym. Within 0.3 miles there is a shop and 1.8 miles a pub. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. The city of Durham is not far from Chester-le-Street. Durham Cathedral, with its majestic, vaulted ceiling and outstanding architecture, can be found in this city. One of the best specimens of Norman architecture in all of Europe can be seen in this cathedral. The cathedral and Durham Castle are adjacent to one another, with the castle perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the cathedral and the cathedral spire.
