The Hive offers a private, enclosed courtyard, and the table and chairs are perfectly placed for an early morning coffee or perhaps an al fresco evening meal. A short walk into the village you’ll find a well-stocked store and popular pub serving real ales and delicious home-cooked food. There is a village pub and Bistro, walking distance, and 4 pubs within a 3-mile radius offering great food and atmosphere. The city of Hull is easily accessible and is home to several free museums, art galleries, and The Deep Aquarium. For a little culture, enjoy an evening in one of the two theatres or dance the night away in one of the many clubs.

For those who enjoy the outdoors, this area is packed with opportunities from the Spurn Point National Nature Reserve to RSPB Bempton Cliffs. The East Riding and The Yorkshire Wolds offer miles of walking and cycling opportunities, and there is also a great golf course close by. Mappleton, Barmston, Tunstall, and Hornsea beaches are close at hand as are the stately homes of Burton Constable and Burton Agnes.
