Cozy cabin in beautiful surroundings. Close to downhill skiing and cross-country ski trails in the winter, and hiking, fishing, and many other activities in the summer. The cabin is located just outside a small village in the Klövsjö area of southern Jämtland, near Klövsjöbackarna, Storhogna, and Vemdalsskalet. Snowmobile trails are nearby, leading to the Vemdalsfjällen mountains and other destinations. Here, it’s easy to relax in privacy throughout all seasons—enjoying a fire, hiking in the woods and mountains, picking berries or mushrooms, biking, and more. The cabin is surrounded by forests and meadows.
- A total of 4 beds in two bedrooms. One bedroom on the lower level with a 160 double bed and one bedroom on the upper level with two single beds (90).
- The cottage is heated with electric radiators, and there is also a cozy wood-burning stove in the kitchen.
- Living room with a sofa. DVD and VHS players with a large selection of movies for all ages. No standard TV.
- Kitchen with a wood-burning stove; free access to firewood stored in a small shed next to the house. All kitchen equipment is provided, including a stove, refrigerator, and freezer.
- Bathroom with a simple shower, sink, and separate toilet.
Guests must bring their own bedding, kitchen towels, and bath towels.
Cleaning is the guest’s responsibility, and the cabin must be left in the same condition as when it was first occupied.
Snow play and forest walks are right outside the door. We go cross-country skiing with the kids on the village roads when the snow cover on the roads allows it. The nearest ski resort, for both downhill and cross-country skiing, is Klövsjö, located about 25 km away. Storhogna and Vemdalsskalet are a few more kilometers away.
Trail centers are located in the village of Vemdalen, Vemdalsskalet, Storhogna, and Klövsjö.
There are grocery stores in the village of Rätan, Klövsjö, and Vemdalsskalet.
Gas stations are located in the village of Rätan and in Klövsjö.
