Apartment mit gute Räumlichkeiten. Ein Schlafzimmer ruhig, das andre leider vom Straßenlärm beeinträchtigt. Ausstattung gepflegt und ausreichend vorhanden.

The property had everything you would need to make it feel like home. The bed was comfortable, that’s a plus because our body clock was thrown way off! The pillows were not the best but sort of tolerable. Clean enough, didn’t use the washer. We logged into net flex for our entertainment while there.We had to check in after hours for a fee, the flight was delayed. Location was good, within walking distance to a lot of the events we had booked. If staying for a while, don’t rent a car, no parking. Traffic is crazy, like NY but worse.Tour companies were good except “get a guide” I would not recommend. They jammed a lot of people on the tour boat around Penza island, no where to sit on the boat. Wall to wall people, make sure you ask questions before booking a trip to Ponza Island. The guide was just there, not much in the way of support.We walked everywhere, we were a little intimidated by the public transportation, we don’t speak the language. First time in Rome maybe that will be better next time.People were okay but they loose patience when you don’t speak their language. Food was good, I ate too much pasta.To sum up, yes I would stay at Sweeties again!

Great!

It was very well put together. We could have used another cereal bowl, more clean towels and trash bags. Otherwise it was great, very spacious and comfortable. Great to have a washing machine. Metro 15 minute walk.

Unmögliche Kommunikation der Agentur

Als wir ankamen, wurden wir freundlich von einem Mitarbeiter empfangen, mussten für den Late-Check-In 25 € extra zahlen. Wir entdeckten gleich, dass Wasser aus der Dusche ins Bad lief. Laut seiner Aussage war das Problem schon bei den Vormietern aufgetreten. Er schraubte etwas und meinte, es müsste so gehen. Wir waren nur übers Wochenende dort und als wir nach der Möglichkeit eines Late-Check-Outs fragten und dabei erwähnten, dass das Duschproblem weiterhin bestehen würde, wurden wir mit vorwurfsvollen Mails konfrontiert. Es wäre unsere Verantwortung gewesen, sie offiziell zu informieren. Dass wir ihren Mitarbeiter als Repräsentanten ihres Unternehmens beim Check-In direkt hingewiesen hatten, war in ihren Augen nicht ausreichend. Sie sahen den Fehler weiterhin bei uns, dabei ist die fehlende interne Kommunikation ja nun wirklich nicht Aufgabe der Gäste! Einfach nur absurd, sowas haben wir noch nicht erlebt! Die Kaution haben wir erst nach 2 Wochen erhalten. Wir würden nicht mehr bei Sweeties buchen und dies auch nicht empfehlen. Unprofessionell!

Excellent experience. Four thumbs up

Clearly it has been completely renovated and updated. The living room has two couches to sit on a table for four to eat. And a television. The sofabed was a little difficult to sit on and we never used it to sleep. The table is big enough for 5 to sit comfortably. The bedroom features closet space and a king size bed easy to sleep in. The bathroom has a large dual headed shower. We used both the laundry machine and the dish washer regularly; we did have to buy our own detergent. If you pay attention to the bus signs outside you will fnd that some if the buses are useful for getting you to Termini. The metro station at Re di Romo is helpful and the tram near St John Lateran takes you to many useful places as well. We popped into Due Scalini every morning for our cappucino.

Convinient location

It was our first stay with vrbo. Checkin was smooth and the appartment was spacious enough for three people for a couple of days. Some amenities like hand soap were missing, which we had to buy on our own. Otherwise 5/5

Highly recommend

Excellent stay at the apartment, it was as advertised had everything we needed. It was close to a bus stop which was convenient given that it is a bit far from most attractions.the management company is so easy to deal with and they were very accommodating with a late checkout. Would 100% recommend.

We absolutely enjoyed the sweeties apartment! Great location, very clean, newly renovated and just adorable! The host was very friendly and helpful, always got back with me quickly for any questions we had. I highly recommend this cute department for your stay in Rome.

Wonderful neighborhood and apartment

We loved the San Giovanni neighborhood, away from the touristy areas, with ordinary Italians going about their day. We loved the different stores and cafes around there, too. The apartment was very nice - attractive and comfortable. We were grateful for the air conditioner because it was hot in Rome when we were there. We were a little confused about the timing of when the driver would meet us at Fiumicino when we arrived. We arrived at 12:00pm and knew we couldn't check into the apartment until 3pm, but we waited in the waiting area for ~ 2 hours, not knowing if we should stay in the waiting area or go somewhere else and come back, etc., and it was hot and we were tired. I just think that needs to be made clear ahead of time. But the check-in was good and we loved our time in Rome and in the apartment.

Très bien

Tout était très bien. Quand on ajoute la taxe et le ménage, cela reviens un peu cher. Par contre mon commentaire n'est en comparable avec d'autre place mais plutôt une impression personnelle. À part ça nous avons aucun commentaire négatif. Tout était super. 30 minute de marche du colisée. La vacance a été super.

Great apartment and convenient, quiet neighborhood

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sweeties apartment. It was attractive, quiet, and wonderfully located. We thoroughly enjoyed the front balcony and the warm sun! It was also so convenient that Bus 628 and Bus 360 stopped right in front of the building. These two busses - and a seven day bus pass - seemed to open all of Rome to us. An easy walk to lots of good food! We highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay in Rome just slightly outside the tourist crush.

Wonderful apartment

We had a great time here. The property was just as described and our contact Stefano was quick to respond to all messages and requests. He was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The neighborhood is a bit "away from it all", yet close enough to walk to points of interest (30 minutes to the Colosseum). Wonderful restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We really enjoyed having the balcony for afternoon snacks with a glass of wine. The living spaces were very spacious and comfortable. The apartment has a/c and there is an elevator in the building. Thanks for a great time in Rome!

Sweet stay @ Sweeties

Our family of three enjoyed 4 nights in this beautifully remodeled San Giovanni neighborhood. The property is well-maintained, is clean and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I like that it had two balconies, which allowed for two different views and a nice cross-breeze when open. Sweeties is in a great location (approximately 25 minute walk to San Giovanni basilica and around 45 minute walk to the Colosseum. We did the double-decker bus tour around Rome for a few days, went on a walking tour and then opted for local transportation (bus stop right outside of the apartment) after we found ourselves walking 10+ miles a day! The local neighborhood is safe and was a nice change from the crowds in the touristy areas. We felt like locals for a few days. The apartment is on the 6th floor and there is a very tiny old-fashioned elevator which just barely fit the three of us adults + pizza held overhead. All-in-all, it made our trip to Rome extra enjoyable. Thanks!

Convenient location

Property was clean, had what's needed for a comfortable stay. Liked that it was walking distance to some of the sights. Neighborhood had a good variety of restaurants, markets and a bakery a few steps away.

Beautiful just renovated apartment. Blows cold AC for that summer heat, comes with all the essentials and best of all, there was an elevator to our floor!

Amazing Apartment in San Giovanni

We loved our stay at Sweeties San Giovanni! Check in was made easy by Adriano, and he even gave us city tips. So helpful! The apartment was sparkling clean and so beautifully furnished. We had comfy beds and everything we needed for a wonderful stay. San Giovanni was the perfect home base for us to explore Rome but stay out of the city hustle and bustle. We have a favorite gelato shop now :) Communication with the management company was excellent and they were so accommodating with a last-minute request. Oh, and the A/C was perfect for the hot summer. We would love to stay here again!!

Great family vacaction in Rome

We had a great time in Rome, the apartment is just like the pictures, really comfortable and clean. The location is super convenient, you can even walk to the Colloseum. The Tratoria de Roberto & Loretta, just 5 minutes walk from the apartment, highly recommended for dinner in a non-turist kind of place.
