I am very proud to welcome guests to my family home located on the stunning North East coastline. My home is perfect for families or small groups of friends seeking to enjoy the award winning beaches.
The space The property still boasts some of its original features and is located only a 5 minute walk from Tynemouth Beach. Through careful renovation it now contains a blend of modern and contemporary style giving it a very welcoming and homely feel to suit many different peoples tastes. The property will sleep 5 people (1 king size bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom) and also contains a full upstairs bathroom and a small downstairs toilet.
Ground Floor
As you enter the property through the private front door you are greeted with a bright spacious hallway and a downstairs toilet to your right hand side. Walking towards the rear of the property the door immediately ahead provides access to the kitchen area and a small breakfast table and chairs. The ground floor also contains a large living a dining room accessible from both the kitchen and hallway. Rear sliding doors allows guests to access and enjoy the stunning private rear garden.
First Floor Using the staircase in the hallway you will arrive in a spacious landing area on the first floor. The main large bathroom will be on your right with separate shower and bath facilities on offer. Spare linen and towels can be located in the bathroom storage cupboard. The first floor contains 3 bedrooms with some storage space of offer for guests to unpack and make themselves feel like home.
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Tesco Express a few minutes walk away.
Guest access Guests will have access to the entire property. The property's private garden has a clear partition between neighbors making it a welcoming space for guests to sit out during the evening and enjoy the last remaining sunshine.
Other things to note - This property is not baby-friendly and does not have a travel cot or high chair.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT Check-in time is after **pm and check-out time is before **am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
WHO IS PASS THE KEYS The local community-based team of Pass the Keys® personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys®’s Property Readiness Standard.
Additional rules - Check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before 11 am. - Please respect the neighbours and keep the noise down. - Please use the table mats and coasters to protect the furniture - When leaving the property please make sure you lock all the door and windows - When leaving the property please use the thermostat to turn the heating down to 10 or off to help reduce our carbon footprint - If you like gardening, it’s always appreciated if you wish to deadhead the roses, or to get the hosepipe out, which is situated in the cottage pathway but remember to turn the tap off tightly to avoid a flood. - Please don’t use the bathroom douche pipes to avoid a flood.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property. Pets - allowed Smoking - not allowed
