Back garden with patio, firepit, sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 6 years old. There is a pond in the garden.. This stunning newly converted design studio and extension has been renovated to a very high spec by the owners, with attention to detail in many ways. The property boasts two double bedrooms at either end, with the master bedroom incorporating wall to wall full height sliding windows overlooking shallow ponds and water features as well as the patio area of the garden. The open plan living area and garden room have been kitted out with little trinkets of history, blending pleasantly with all the expected mod cons and some added extras too. The Studio offers guests space and comfort in a lovely peaceful central setting with plenty to do for all the family. You also have a very secluded private garden to enjoy, which has mixed areas from patio, shallow pond/water features to a traditional charcoal BBQ with lawn and cottage garden flower beds
You are based in the heart of the village, with the famous michellin star restaurant ’The Dog @ Wingham’ 100 yards away, and the beautiful family pub ’The Anchor’ with live entertainment and large stunning garden about 300 yards from your door step, a beautiful olde’ world family pub . The village boasts a bakery, Indian restaurant/takeaway, central store, newsagent/sweet shop. Wingham Wildlife Park is located around a 5 minute drive from the property.
Alternatively there are some great locations nearby, Canterbury 12 miles with it’s medieval walled city awe inspiring cathedral, punting tours on the river, working up an appetite to indulge in the "spoilt for choice" array of restaurants. Don’t miss out on the famous Oysters at Whitstable, 19 miles it’s fisherman’s huts, art galleries and individual shops. The quaint Cinque port town of Sandwich 5 miles offers a wide variety of individual shops and a good choice of pubs, bars and restaurants many overlooking the picturesque quay. As near as 9 miles are seaside towns of Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Margate with golden sandy beaches providing endless days of fun for all the family. Last but not least, Dover 15 miles with it’s historic castle and ferries across the channel. Not forgetting it’s neighbour Folkestone and the channel tunnel 45 minutes to France.
The Studio itself is kitted out perfectly for a romantic break with a lovely Patio to enjoy a glass of wine or two in the evening watching the sun set over Wingham church steeple.
