Located in the lakeside village of Caslano, with characteristic narrow streets and ancient buildings, this 2-bedroom holiday retreat with a terrace is ideal for 4 guests. The modern villa offers an intimate garden with fencing, as well as alfresco dining, sun loungers and a BBQ for enjoying time together on your vacation without any interruptions.

Inside, the 2-level villa offers air-conditioning for comfy year-round stays. It has a modern and stylish living room with a flowy layout and a fully equipped kitchen-diner for a carefree holiday. In the kitchen, guests will find everything they need to whip up delicious homemade meals: dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster and fridge with freezer.

The holiday villa is located in the lovely ancient village of Caslano, where its narrow streets and historic churches create a very charming atmosphere to spend a relaxing holiday on Lake Lugano. From the holiday villa, the picturesque beauty of Lake Lugano is just a pleasant 5-minute stroll away; meanwhile, the Museo delle Culture is just a 10-minute walk from here. Guests can also easily visit the main attractions of the village, like the Chocolate Museum in 2 minutes and the Museo della Pesca and Caslano Lido in 20 minutes on foot. Nearby, you\'ll also find charming local restaurants, cafes, and shops, providing convenient options for dining and entertainment.

For nature enthusiasts, Monte Caslano offers breathtaking hiking trails, a mere 15 minutes away by car. Other romantic places to visit on Lake Lugano that are also perfect for day trips are within a 20-30 minutes drive away and include the prettiest village of Ticino, Morcote; the vibrant city with memorable sunsets, Lugano; and the picturesque little lake of Astano (also great for hiking). The property is located on a major road that connects Switzerland to Italy. Border control is approximately 1km away. So most of the time is very busy but once inside the property not noticeable. Also benefits from a commuter train that travels into the very nice city of Lugano. The property from the front is disappointing, untidy and tired. But once you step through the door you are pleasantly surprised. A tidy and clean house with all the necessary facilities. Unfortunately no products for the washing machine, dishwasher. And a small amount of capsules for the coffee machine and washing up liquid. So be prepared to go shopping. The property is generally comfortable, wifi, plenty of , powerful shower and a pretty garden that has access to a lovely lake. Because the house is built into a slope be prepared for lots of walking up and down stairs. The property has a bbq but again be prepared to purchase your own briquettes. Plenty of garden space to eat and pets to roam. Check in is easy, just the same as other properties we have visited. We did have a small problem with washing machine. We tried the list of numbers that were provided but no representative answered our call. Eventually making our way through the list of telephone numbers our call was received and problem sorted. Although the property is located on a busy road and looks unhomely from the front inside is comfortable and the village/ town of caslano and surrounding areas are nice.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit etlichen Mängeln

Um 17Uhr war das Haus noch nicht geputzt. Der versprochene Drink dafür wurde nie bezahlt. Mängel: kein Wlan im Untergeschoss, keine Kaffeetassen, kein brauchbares Brotbrett. Steg renovationbedürftig. Gefallen hat uns die Einrichtung, sehr schönes Bad, tolle Dusche, Aussicht

Diskrepanz zwischen Beschrieb und Realität

Das Objekt befindet sich nicht im Dorf Caslano sondern an einer stark befahrenen Strasse nach Ponte Tresa. So ist der Garten nur sehr beschränkt nutzbar. Der Gartensitzplatz ist sehr ungepflegt (offene Technik, überhaupt nicht einladend, keine Liegestühle, keine Sonnenschirme). Zugang zum See: ja, auf 1 m Breite, dann ein Bootsanliegeplatz. Keine Möglichkeit am See zu gehen, oder einen Fuss ins Wasser zu halten. Küche und Wohnraum ok, aber sicher keine grosszügige Wohnküche wie beschrieben (Tisch ca. 40 x 70 cm mit 2 Stühlen). Viel Technik im Haus, aber kein Beschrieb, alles nur italienischen Sender, Meine Anfrage bei der Agentur Lugano, betreffend Unterstützung, wurde nicht beantwortet. Bitte nicht von einer Villa sprechen, es ist ein moderner Bau der ungepflegt wirkt - es kommt definitiv keine Ferienstimmung auf. Posititv: wir hatten sehr schlechtes Wetter: wir konnten in allen Räumen heizen. Würde dieses Objekt aber sicher nicht mehr buchen.

Sehr schöne Lage

Ein schönes Ferienhaus in ausgezeichneter Lage. Von dort aus kann man sehr viel erkunden. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, alles da was man benötigt. Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank, Herd, Nespresso und alles an Geschirr/ Besteck was man benötigt wird. Wünschenswert wäre es jedoch, wenn die Räume alle beheizt wären. Gerade Kinderzimmer, Dusche und Schlafzimmer ohne Heizung.
