Mill House Cottage - Cosy Stay on The Cotswold Way
Mill House Cottage is located right on the famous Cotswold Way - this is the ideal base for anyone looking for the perfect cosy escape to the country and explore the many incredible walking routes right from the front door.
Recently decorated, this is a charming little cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds offering everything you`d expect from a bolthole in this stunning part of the world.
As you walk through the front door, you are drawn to the charming country style decorated throughout, with soothing greens and blues flowing throughout the home. Downstairs is one open plan living area, you also have the comfortable double sofa bed making it easy for groups of 4 to stay here.
The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm here, be it a full English breakfast before you set off for the day or a hearty evening one pot to unwind after a long day`s exploring.
Upstairs is the main bedroom with a small double bed and with the bathroom next door which has a bath. The ceiling is low down here so it`s unfortunately not possible to have a shower! All the more reason to pour the bubbles in and have a long soak in the bath instead.
We also have a small pebbled area right outside the cottage, with a table and chairs perfect for morning coffees or something stronger in the evening, and this can also be used as a parking space for a small car. We also have pocket-sized private lawn that the table and chairs can go also.
We`re only 2.5 miles (a 10 min taxi ride) from Stroud train station which is also only 1h 20 mins by train to London Paddington. There’s an Enterprise car hire in Stroud for those that would like to hire a car to get around. Stroud also has an excellent farmer`s market on Satudays that we highly recommend.
Painswick the “Queen of the Cotswolds” is also only 2 miles away and a lovely walk to get there too. Lots of boutique shops and lovely gastro pubs to explore.

You’ll be given the choice between paying a fully refundable £300 deposit (with a small, non-refundable £4.70 fee for UK cards or £9.00 for international cards) or purchasing a non-refundable £30 damage waiver, which protects you against accidental damage up to £300 during your stay. Check-in information will only be sent once this is completed.

Please don’t eat or drink in the bedroom.
Please respect the noise curfew of 10pm
