With superb lake views and the lakeshore nearby, Potters Lodge is simply fabulous! An exceptional place to stay, perfect for families or couples and friends looking for a stunning holiday retreat in the Lakes.

The lodge is beautifully furnished to accommodate up to 6 guests plus a tiny tot along with a small dog. With three good sized bedrooms, two with a king size bed and one a double, plus a super equipped kitchen and living area with all the fancy amenities one would expect. Add in the spacious outside terrace furnished to a high standard and of course, a hot tub! How much better can it get….

THINGS TO NOTE...
Arrival is from 4pm. Departure by 10am.
Hot Tub to be used between 10am and 10pm only
Potters Lodge is accessed by 3 stone steps followed by another 3 composite steps on to the deck. All the deck is one level
Please bring own towels for use of hot tub
Travel cot and highchair are available to rent on request for an additional £10 per item (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided)
Travel cot will fit in the master bedroom only, with the bed moved to the side
Hen and Stag parties are not permitted at this lodge or on the Park
A security deposit is required at this property for all single sex groups under the age of 25 and for a group booking of 3 or more under the age of 21

Stayed here 29th December 2025 4 nights, 2 adults 2 kids and a dog , had a fantastic stay , accommodation is gorgeous great location by the lake nice and relaxing. Highly recommend. X

A beautiful stay at Potters Lodge

We’ve stayed many times in the Lake District in different lodges, I have to say this is absolutely our favourite stay. Such a beautiful lodge with all the comforts you could need, fabulous location, the size of the lodge Is excellent, we would love to stay here again.

Beautiful lodge

Second time staying at Potters Lodge - came for my birthday which was the best way to celebrate - love this lodge - so spacious, clean, lovely good sized hot tub - close to the lake - it’s just a fab lodge - would highly recommend and have done to all my friends and family

GORGEOUS LODGE

This lodge is perfect very clean everything you could ever need for a holiday and very doggy friendly, the only problem we had was that the hot tub was not ready to be used on the day that we arrived which was very frustrating as we were looking forward to it the view to the lake is gorgeous

A few days with friends

Excellent long weekend

This was our 3rd visit to potters lodge , excellent location. Lovely lodge so clean with everything provided. . The only slight thing this time was the outside furniture looking really tired and the outside box broken . Would that put us off again no! , we will be booking again for next year ..

This is a fantastic lodge, its clean and comfortable with a got tub and a view of the lake. We have stayed here a few times now and have booked again for November and next year. We love this Lodge and Park and cant wait to go back !!

Beautiful Potters Lodge

On arrival the lodge was immaculate, it really is a lovely place to stay, gorgeous views of lake Windemere, contemporary interior, and the decking area is delightful, blessed with sunny weather we enjoyed many hours sitting on the comfy rattan furniture. This is our third time staying and will be back again next year..

Relaxing Family Stay at Potters Lodge

Stayed at Potter's Lodge to celebrate my mums 85th birthday. Delighted with the lake view and comforts of the lodge for all the family. With the addition of the hot tub and being able to bring our family dog. We all had an enjoyable long weekend at the lodge and would highly recommend. Lots of little extra touches which were welcomed.

We have come here as a family every for the past few years and cannot fault it at all Beautiful Lodge in a Stunning Location with huge decking housing a hot tub … WOW!!! We love coming here and look forward to it each time This Lodge Truly is Amazing and is such a credit to the owners - Thank you for letting us continuously stay in your beautiful lodge these past few years. Lakes Cottages & Lodges I always find to be amazing with nothing being too much trouble they are both extremely knowledgeable & approachable making arrivals and departures run smoothly - Massive Huge Shout Out To Fiona who always goes above and beyond and is a credit to the company - Thank you Fiona for all your continued help, support, understanding and expertise at all times

Gorgeous lodge with stunning lake views

The lodge is a very good size with views of lake Windermere plenty of space for 2 cars but nearby parking too very warm and cozy you have a hive that controls the heating the only very disappointing thing was that the hot tub was not ready for us to use on Friday at all Clubhouse on site was very busy and friendly we never used the pool small mini market which stocked everything you would need on a short break White Cross Bay is a lovely site within a 10 minute drive of Bowness and Ambleside

A winter getaway

Perfect location for a break away. I can only imagine how fantastic this must be in the summer, but even in early winter with dark nights after the clocks have changed and the colder temperatures and damp weather we came away feeling totally refreshed and recharged. The location and beauty of the lake is outstanding. Thank you for letting us stay at potters lodge for a wonderful family holiday.

Just Book It

Potters Lodge is everything you could hope for family of 6 located with lake view sun all day and facilities and comforts home from home have stayed white cross bay many times this is best lodge yet was careful to book slightly out of season to get best value for money no complaints

We found the lodge to be perfect in every way, very spacious, very roomy with three double bedrooms. A very large decking area for relaxing and, of course, the hot tub. We liked it so much, we had only been resident for one day and we booked it again for next summer

Weekend break

We’ve been lucky to visit the past 3 years, for short breaks, it’s my favourite lodge, and we could take the puppy with us this year which was great. The lodge really is lovely, location ideal, hot tub fantastic, decked area is lovely with the view of the lake. Only thing that could improve it would be bedroom curtains for the early summer mornings . Hopefully get to visit again next year.

Winter Break

We have stayed here before and love it here, we come back because it’s a very comfortable lodge with a view of the lake and a hot tub to enjoy. We stayed in September and November, we also rebooked for next year. Can’t wait

Fantastic stay from start to Finnish

This was are second year staying at potters lodge. My partner, and my parents and of course our little dog millie, who absolutely loves it there. The place has everything you need.like your very own home from home. it's so clean and very cared for .Amazing hottub, Absolutely perfect location right next to the lake .we will be returning again ..

Best lodge on the park

Second visit to this lodge, and it’s still immaculate Positioned very well right next to the slipway in to the lake, great views, and ideal for water sports The facilities and attention to detail in this lodge are the best I have ever encountered. The lodge is immaculate, and the hot tub was used regularly all weekend. Communication was great during booking. We travelled as a group of 4 adults and had an amazing weekend. If you are thinking of booking this lodge, do not hesitate, book it whilst it’s available

Great Lodge

A fantastic lodge! Furnished to a high standard, with every need catered for. Cannot fault the accommodation at all. Our stay was impacted as the site had a partly developed lodge stored next to our lodge, with the weather being unsettled in the nights we were away (storms and high winds) the covering protecting the stored lodge made a lot of noise through the night, this impacted our sleep 3 out of the 4 nights of our stay.
