Blue Moon is a comfortable holiday house located in a limited traffic zone in the heart of the village of Maiori
Set at the foot of the Lattari mountains , Maiori is the widest village of the Amalfi Coast with its 1 km of sandy beaches that offers healthy walks and a special mix of sea and lemon groves sloping down to the sea. Maiori it is not as touristy as the other places of the coast offering, however, a proper vibrant life especially in the night. It is such a uniquely stunning town that many world-famous Italian films have been shot here , among all the famous Italian film director Roberto Rosellini shot four of his early films in this elegant seaside hamlet.
Due to its central position, this holiday house is the perfect setting for a stay along the Amalfi Coas. All the amenities of Maiori such as the seaside promenade and the beach, a wide selection of groceries, cafes, seaview restaurants and pubs are just outside the property.
The SITA bus Amalfi - Salerno line is at approximately 200 meters while the tourist port to board ferries to Minori, Positano, Amalfi, Salerno and the islands of Capri and Ischia is at approximately 500 meters
The apartment, located on the second floor of the building (with elevator), has been recently restored with modern furniture in the white and blue colors and is paved with bright majolica tiles with the typical design from Vietri. All modern comforts such as wi-fi internet access, air conditioning and satellite Tv complete this welcoming accommodation.


Accommodation (approx. 120 sq. m. indoor):
The accommodation is suitable for 6 people.
The front door gives access into a short hallway leading into a spacious living/dining room with a cooking area .The kitchnette is fully equipped with an electric oven , a four burners electric cooker , a large fridge with freezer, a microwave oven , a dishwasher, kettle and filter coffee maker. This area, well-lit from two windows, is completed by a large dining table that can accommodate six guests, a three seater sofa, a satellite Tv and air conditioning /heating unit
The three large bedrooms are furnished with a wardrobe, a suitcase holder, a clothes stand and an air conditioning unit. The first double bedroom has a queen-size bed and French doors to a small veranda equipped with a washing machine, a sink and a drying rack.
The second bedroom has two single beds, lighted by a window. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and French doors onto a balcony , equipped with a coffee table and two chairs.
The two bathrooms are modern and equipped with large shower, washbasin, bidet, toilet and hairdryer.
A car is not needed during your stay at Blue Moon but if you do have one, you can park it in a private parking lot at approximately 300 meters.
Parking space must be reserved ahead of time and is payable locally on arrival ( Daily fee min 20-25 eur )

SERVICES
Refundable security deposit due upon arrival : 300 euros in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.

Visitor's tax Euro 2 per person per day

Mandatory cleaning fee EUR 130 (in total) for 4 people - Euro 160 (in total) for 6 people

Maid service: on request on confirmation of booking, payable locally. Approximately 15 Euros per hour

Electricity and air conditioning/heating is included in the rental price

Services upon request by prior arrangement ( supplied and payable locally ) food delivery ( 30 EUR) ,extra cleaning 15 EUR ), extra linen (30 EUR ), crib (50 EUR ) , private parking ( min Euro 20- max Euro 40 per day) babysitting ( 20 Eur per hour ),airport transfers, car hire, boat rental, exclusive excursions , food and wine tasting itineraries ( please enquire for details and prices).


Access:
Blue Moon accommodation is on the second floor of a four story building. It enjoys a comfortable access by elevator or going up an internal stairway of approximately 45 steps
Distances: The apartment lies in an enviable position, right into town centre of Maiori which provides all the necessary shops and services including a pharmacy, post office, newsagent, wine and cheese shops, open air cafes , shopping, deli , cosy restaurants and so much more.
