Sorry, no hen or stag parties.. Southways is a delightful, semi-detached cottage in the small village of Cumwhinton. It has been completely renovated and refurbished in 2023 to provide an immaculate home-from-home. This pretty little cottage is spacious and has a modern kitchen/dining room to the rear overlooking the lovely, private rear garden. The living room provides the perfect space where you can just sit back and relax, whilst the bedrooms have super comfy beds; the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room. The family bathroom complements the further two bedrooms and is modern and sleek. The garden at Southways is a real treat and is completely enclosed and private, the perfect space to enjoy whilst the weather is fine - perhaps sit and enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of your favourite tipple in the evening.
Cumwhinton is a friendly little village located a couple of minutes from the M6 yet is attractive and peaceful. The perfect location to meet up with family or friends and an ideal location to explore the wonders of this stunning county. From Southways discover the historic border city of Carlisle with its castle, the Eden Valley, the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the lakes and mountains of the Lake District National Park and of course Hadrian’s Wall. A 15-minute drive will take you over the border into Scotland to discover this stunning region with its miles of dramatic coastline and beautiful sandy beaches or just over an hour will take you to the attractions of Newcastle and the North East. Cumbria has something to offer everyone, from those seeking adventure to those seeking peace and tranquillity with its history, landscapes and much much more. Ancient woodlands and riverside walks within a few minutes by car and a ten-minute level stroll to the village pub when no one feels like making dinner. Where better to base yourself than Southways?
