This modern penthouse apartment located right in the heart of town is the perfect destination for couples or friends staying in Gibraltar either on a long or short-term stay.

Gibraltar’s popular coffee shops, restaurants and bustling Main Street shopping area are also right at its doorstep.

It is located on the top 5th floor of the Grand Central House building on Engineer Lane, which recently won a Heritage Award for the restoration/ refurbishment of this 19th Century building.

Master Bedroom:
Comfortable double bed with a spacious wardrobe and a shoe storage space. We provide a steamer (vertical iron) and a hairdryer.

Living room:
The living room features a smart TV with cable channels, and high-speed internet to make you feel at home and enjoy your favourite series & movies, with access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, and much more. The living room also features Air Conditioning.

Private Balcony:
Enjoy your morning cup of coffee and enjoy the skyline city views from the top floor of the building.

Kitchen:
Fully equipped with kitchen utensils, plates and pans, a capsule coffee machine, a kettle, a toaster, an oven, and a hob to prepare your breakfast before exploring Gibraltar. We have a washing machine with a dryer function too.

About the building:
Grand Central House has been developed from the sensitive restoration of a late 19th-century period building situated in the heart of Gibraltar's City Centre. This apartment on the first level features very high ceilings and traditional architectural characteristics of the original structure. The Building has a modern high-powered elevator that assists access throughout all floors. The original and new parts of the Building are integrated by the magnificent sweeping feature marble staircases which are maintained and replicated in design over all the new levels.

Bathroom:
A full bathroom features a shower, toiler and vanity unit with sink. We provide toiletries, such as shampoo, hair conditioner and body soap.

Gibraltar’s Main Street is a stone's throw away, with coffee shops, busy restaurants, convenience stores, duty-free shops, a taxi rank, a bus station and the historic Casemates Square.

If you are planning to explore Gibraltar’s Nature Reserve, Grand Central House’s location is the perfect starting point to enjoy some of the best Rock hikes.

Unreliable, irresponsible, does not communicate

Did not provide me with the code for the keybox prior to arrival, despite numerous requests. I received a postdated email (we all know how to postdate a message) 2 days after arrival. I have a witness for my assertion. The property had various faults, but it is most important that potential clients be advised that they might arrive at the property and be unable to enter the premises.

Hi Michel, We've sent a message 2 days before your arrival with the check-in instructions, which you have received via VRBO messages and email. As well, my colleague Amy sent you via Whatsapp and via text message too. On the day of your arrival you called us saying that you haven't received anything, however we replied immediately and told you over the phone how to access the apartment. We do everything from our side to have a clear communication with our guests, we had more than 3000 people staying with us for the past 2 year and no one had trouble accessing our apartments. It is sad that some guests do not check messages and emails that we sent on how to check-in into a self-serviced apartment. We care a lot about our guests and it is sad receiving such reviews when we did everything from our side to help.
