Unique, Beautiful Holiday Villa in Catalonia

If you want to stay in a house of very high standard and with elements making it different from all other houses, Masia Salto is the obvious choice.

The house is situated as last house in a small village, with the terrace and the pool area facing the fields and with the Pyrenees as the scenic background. A sunset over the Pyrenees with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee is what vacation is about!


INDOOR FACILITIES
The in total 8 bedrooms with 19 beds (+5 extra beds possible) are distributed in the two parts of the house, each with own kitchen and common room. In this way, the house provides the perfect frame for being together, but also a high level of privacy if needed. All the rooms are reformed with respect for any detail, and with creative solutions for the light to enter.

The biggest part with 5 bedrooms is situated in first floor level of the main house. There is capacity for 12 persons, distributed in 3 double rooms (2 with double beds) and 2 triple rooms. Four of the bedrooms have bathrooms ensuite, and the fifth room has also a bathroom, but not ensuite. There is also kitchen and common room with TV and DVD.

From the next entrance, you enter the third part of the building. On the ground floor, it has a big TV-room with wide screen, and an activity room with table tennis and table football.

On the first floor, there are four bedrooms, kitchen and common room with TV and DVD. There are 3 double rooms, 2 with double beds, and one awesome bedroom with four beds, perfect if for instance the children like to sleep together. One room has bathroom ensuite, and the other three share two additional bathrooms. This part has also direct access to the first floor terrace with an excellent view.


OUTDOOR FACILITIES
The swimming pool area is really special. The pool looks a bit like a lake, because while reforming the house, a new technique has been selected, which means that you avoid using chlorine or other addictives, which are usually necessary to keep a swimming pool clean. The plants on the side remove some of the particles in the water. Additionally, an advanced system continuously pumps the water up to run though some stones, which serve as filter before re-entering the pool. In total, this swimming pool has clean and clear water.

The swimming pool, which is in total 84m2, is divided into two parts. A lower part, perfect for small children and a deeper one, perfect for swimming. The pool area is protected by a fence, so the small children cannot enter unattended.

The spacious outdoor area, with the vine on the wall, moreover includes the terrace with barbecue area, outdoor kitchen and a lawn in front. There is also a playground for the children. In the summertime, a corner of the field next to the house will be converted into a football field.


+EXTRA SERVICES
Wellness area
Against supplement to cover the expenses, you can use the wellness spa- and sauna room with a big spa with a view over the landscape through the panorama window. Then there is a “stone-massage basin”. It is a cold water basin, where the round stone on the bottom, massages your feet while walking through. In the other end of the room, there is a shower for cold shower before entering the sauna. (2018-price: 3 hours access: 100 Euros)

HELP AND ADVICE AT HAND
The very nice owner Josep and his wife live in connection with the house. They are use to visitors and fully respect your pricacy, but will always be available if you need advice or help. All facilities are for your use only.


THE SURROUNDINGS
The village, just 5 minutes from the house, has a sports field where you can go, if you want to play football, basketball or have a game of tennis.

There is also a bakery in the village, so the early birds can pick up croissants and bread and make the breakfast ready for the “late birds”. Also, there is a local restaurant with a popular and economic lunch-menu. The owners sell organic meat for the barbecue, and they even have a small chocolate store. Masia Salto is really an excellent base for your holiday in the beautiful Catalonia.
