Keepers Cottage in Shobdon, Herefordshire sleeps six in three bedrooms. Minimum stay is 2 nights

Keepers Cottage consists of a kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a utility with washing machine, a dining room with seating for six guests and a sitting room with TV and electric stove-effect fire. The bedrooms consist of two doubles and a twin, all with TVs and serviced by a bathroom and ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn and furniture, and parking is available. Shared outbuilding with communal facilities including a payphone, external shower rooms, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board, books, games, DVDs, and tourist information. Within 5.2 miles you will find a shop and within 0.7 miles, a pub. But sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot is also available on request. Keepers Cottage is a charming base for your next getaway to Herefordshire. Free fishing is available at Pearl Lake for anyone staying in our lodges. Rules and passes to be collected from reception. We also have an onsite restaurant, bar, putting green, BMX trails, outdoor chess, zip wire, adventure play and golf for you to enjoy during your stay. Note: Steps to the exterior; please take care. Note: The park will be closed during Jan & Feb and there may be some ground work taking place. Note: Bookings made for parties of workers can only be accepted with the prior consent of the Owner.

January 2nd - 1st March - customers will be booking the property only. The site is closed so there will be no access to the bar/bistro, fishing areas, golf course as they are not open. The site will have some maintenance ongoing during this time as well as staff training




Region: Herefordshire offers visitors the chance to journey through lush green countryside, enjoying splendid black-and-white timbered villages, a magnificent cathedral city, a fairytale Georgian castle at Eastnor or books galore in famous Hay-on-Wye.

Town: The pleasant village of Shobdon lies between the historic market towns of Leominster and Presteigne, and is surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside, close to the Welsh borderlands. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Shobdon has a village shop, an excellent pub/restaurant, and even a private airfield, providing a rare opportunity to learn how to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Leominster, dating back to the 7th century possesses some fine examples of architecture including the Priory Church, along with a wide selection of shops, cafes, antiques centres and pubs - an ideal place to spend an afternoon. Close by are many National Trust properties including Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, plus the Judge's Lodgings in Presteigne, Stokesay Castle, the renowned Shropshire Discovery Centre and the Acton Scott Historic Farm. Sample Herefordshire's cider or discover Hereford with its fascinating Mappa Mundi world map and the captivating chained library, home to a collection of rare and ancient books. The pretty medieval market town of Ludlow is also close by and makes a great day out, with more than 500 listed buildings and a magnificent castle.
