Fabulous Flat

This is a lovely property - exactly as the photos depict. Great base for St Andrews, Anstruther and surrounding areas. Crail quiet but had a good chippy and we had some lovely steaks from the butcher. Would recommend to anyone and really good value for money.

Crail home from home

A lovely flat in a charming period property with all you need for a relaxing brrak. Situated in the centre of this delightful coastal village within walking distance of beach and harbour.

Wrong address

The address did not include Beech House which is on the sign. 4 Kirmay House is the address I was given. That address was undiscoverable.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Zusätzliche Ablagen und Aufhängungen im Bad wären nützlich. Der Zugang zur Wohnung war sehr schwierig,da kein Schlüsselcode in den Reiseunterlagen zur Verfügung stand.

Wonderful Stay

The flat was spacious and bright at a nice location in Crail. We had initial problem with arrival instructions as emails from Homeaway did not come through but everything else was superb. Only 20 mins to St Andrews and easy to get around by car.

Nice spot in beautiful village

This was the perfect spot for a buddy and me as we were in Crail for the golf. Just a block from the center of town in a beautiful old home. Easy parking and walk to several nice restaurants. Two comfortable bedrooms and modern bathroom plus kitchen. I’d stay here again!

Great location, had everything we needed.

A few blocks from the sea, we enjoyed walking through town and visiting the coast of Fife from this location. Spacious, quiet, had everything we needed. We found one small problem upon arrival and the owner was perfectly responsive and all was taken care of. Neighbors delightful. Would stay here again.

Perfectly perfect

From booking to our arrival, Lorna the proprietor was amazing with the fluid communication, as I had a few queries prior to booking. The directions given were spot on, the entrance was lovely, and the flat was so spacious, clean and just simply had everything you could possibly want or indeed need from a holiday rental. The walled gardens outside looked delightful, though the weather didn't compliment a closer look other than through the windows. Thank you Lorna, I have stayed in many home rentals over the years, facilitating golf, and this is right up there with the best.I WILL BE BACK. Thank you

Perfect place to stay

Superbe maison, magnifique logement GREAT GREAT GREAT...

We just loved Crail and the house! I'll definitely go back to this place, my family and I just loved it!!! Craig is a beautiful place to visit and walk along the sea...it is the place we liked the most !!! The house is just superb!!

Lovely house in a beautiful location

We had a lovely few days in Craill. The flat was very spacious, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, plenty of shops, take aways and places to eat. Only a 10 minute drive to St Andrews. The neighbours were lovely. We will definitely be back.

Ruhig und empfehlenswert

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in der großzügig geschnittenen Ferienwohnung im idyllischen Hafenort Crail. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer und viel Platz im Wohnzimmer. Die Wohnung liegt ruhig, aber zwei Supermärkte und mehrere Restaurants sind zu Fuß leicht zu erreichen. Nur Kleinigkeiten wie ein wackelnder Toilettensitz und ein fehlender Handgriff an der Spülmaschine störten ein klein wenig, konnten den guten Gesamteindruck aber nicht trüben. Sollte es uns wieder nach Crail verschlagen, würden wir jederzeit wieder die Wohnung in Betracht ziehen.

Sehr empfehlenswert!

Gutes, vollständig ausgestattetes Appartement, es fehlt nichts. Beschreibung ist absolut korrekt, alle Zusagen stimmten. Wir würden es wieder buchen. Es ist zwar etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig für uns als Deutsche, dass die Begrüßungszeremonie nicht persönlich stattfand, aber das ist anscheinend in Schottland so üblich und macht überhaupt nichts. Unterm Strich: Prima, gerne wieder!

Very nice property at the seaside

The property was just as described. Easy to find, surrounded by a garden, lots of space. It was clean, well-maintained, and there was everything we needed. Only a few minutes walk to the sea and the harbour. A restaurant, a food store, a pub, and the bus stop (to St. Andrews, or Anstruther/Leven), are only a 3 minutes walk away. We would certainly stay here again if we travel to East Neuk of Fife next time.

East Neuk hideaway - great base for exploring

We had a short break here in August 2013. The Apartment is located in the centre of Crail, but is set back from the main road with private parking which is great. Location was perfect for the three of us - my wife, my 16 month old daughter and I. The apartment block is quiet with a shared / communal entrance with the other apartments. Was very quiet.& no real noise of any note. The décor within the entrance hall is dated but is not reflective of the apartment itself which is bright. The apartment itself is kitted out with the basics and was certainly adequate for our needs. The availability of wifi was great and a real bonus for us. Flat within close walking distance of the local shops / ATM & chippy / golf hotel, and there are two kids play parks just a short walk away. Have recommended to friends and family - great value for money and look forward to visiting again in the future.
