Maravillosa ubicación! Cerca del centro de Asheville (20-25 MINUTOS) con una gran cantidad de lugares para comer o pasar el rato. Es muy divertido explorar esta ciudad única. Pase el día explorando Biltmore Estate o súbase a Blue Ridge Parkway para disfrutar de las magníficas vistas. ¡Navitat Zipline Canopy Tours también está muy cerca y es una experiencia única en la vida! Hermosa casa escondida en las montañas! Corto recorrido panorámico al centro de Asheville. Cerca de Blue Ridge Parkway. Las fotos eran muy precisas y el chalet era muy espacioso para nuestra familia. Alquilamos la cabaña para un viaje de cumpleaños número 30 con amigos. ¡Todo fue como Ashley lo describió y lo pasamos muy bien! La casa estaba limpia y proporcionaba mucho espacio con bonitas vistas. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que quiera tener una escapada a la montaña y permanecer cerca del centro de la ciudad.

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary to hike Mt Mitchell. The location was great and the house was beautiful! I would stay again without a second thought.

Nice stay

Nice place with plenty of room. The biggest challenge was finding it - there needs to be more markers after you leave the main road and start up the gravel road. Beautiful view from the deck.

Surprise Birthday Trip

This stay was absolutely amazing. This Cabin is an actual dream. The beds were super comfy and the view is outstanding. This was a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend who then proposed during it. Everyone loved it and we will definitely be booking again. The only thing I recommend is bringing a light and speaker for night time around the hot tub.

Beautiful views and good value

Spectacular sunrises and sunsets were enjoyed. Kitchen was well supplied and overall house was comfortable for our family of 6. Road and driveway up were easily negotiated as we closely followed owners directions. Owner always promptly replied to questions. Will come back.

Wonderful Stay

Our vacation was very nice in general and our stay at this house was no exception. It’s exactly what you expect it to be from looking at the listing. The few is perfect, the accommodations and furnishings are excellent and the hosts seem like very nice people. Visit to the Biltmore Estate

Very comfortable mountain home located in a very quite area. Just a short ride to the Asheville and the Biltmore estate. Setting on the deck enjoying the view of the mountains The ride up to the house from Paint Fork road is interesting but not a reason not to rent. Just take you time and enjoy the ride.

Nothing about this rental was acceptable, and we left within 1 1/2 hrs of arriving - as quickly as we could book a hotel in Asheville. We were contacted by the owner shortly after paying the full amount for the rental regarding the potential need for a 4wd vehicle to reach the house. When we said we had a front wheel drive CRV, we were assured that “… yes, you will be fine.” It was hazardous at best, and a danger to our family; should have been in the property disclosure/description - but that may not have mattered, since that wasn’t factual anyway. We needed beds for 4 people and both of the futons were broken (leg fell off of one when opened and the other was filthy with food crumbs and wouldn’t stay flat when opened. The entire downstairs smelled moldy and the extra bedding in one of the bdrm closets was not even usable because of this. One of the downstairs bdrm doors wouldn’t close and it had a hole in it. There were spider webs inside the downstairs and we saw live insects in 2 downstairs rooms; we were hardly there long enough to look. If this home met VRBO’s expectations for putting their name on, then I will be re-evaluating vacation rental companies moving forward. At best, the property pictures and information misrepresented the actual condition of the property and more closely resembled a lie. Lots of people rely on proper vetting of these properties when they schedule vacations, and losing money and incurring this kind of disappointment is criminal.

It was as described in the write up

It was great for 5 adults and a baby. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. The communication with management was perfect. The house is a little tired, we did choose to vacuum and clean it upon arrival as it appeared it hadn’t been cleaned recently. But it was good for what we needed.

Wonderful, peaceful property!

Staying at this house was like staying in the clouds! It was rainy and cold when we visited, but it made it all the better for some quality family time and the VIEW when the clouds finally broke up on our third day was SPECTACULAR! The house was the perfect distance outside of Asheville to feel secluded and small town like, while only being a short distance to town. Anna, the host, was extremely responsive and easy to get along with! Overall, we had a great stay! Thank you for hosting us!

Great Mountain Escape

The house is tucked away partway up a mountain. The view is incredible. There are cozy amenities including a working fireplace and hot tub. With bedrooms, bathrooms, and family rooms on both floors everyone had ample space and privacy. Guests should keep in mind that groceries are 20 min away and delivery is out of the question. We also recommend bringing bottled drinking water (tap has a sulfur smell that makes it unappetizing).

Mountain Getaway

The four is us enjoyed our stay at your lovely property. It is as close enough to do everything we wanted to do. Downtown Asheville and the beautiful Parkway. I don’t have 4 wheel drive, which would have made the driveway a bit easier. However, our friends from Green Bay had a 4 wheel drive which made it much better! The house was lively but could have been a bit cleaner. On the whole we had a great time!

Great Weekend Getaway

Our group of 6 had a great time spending a long weekend here. The view is amazing and the house was generally great. Plenty of room and the big dining room table is great for playing games. The one issue that's keeping me from giving 5 stars is the beds. Most of us found them very uncomfortable and I came away from the trip feeling tired. A much smaller issue is the wi-fi which can be slow to the point of not being useful, but I doubt you can do much better in the area.
