The Cart Lodge at Lee Wick Farm Cottages
The Cart Lodge is our largest property and sleeps up to 10 - 12 people. Situated on a quiet lane away from the main farm, the building dates from the previous century and has been tastefully converted leaving some features from it's previous life.
It has an M2 mobility rating, (typically suitable for a person with restricted walking ability and for those that may need to use a wheelchair some of the time).
Inside you will find a large open plan kitchen, dining area and living room with log burner. A good sized utility room is adjacent to the kitchen.
The spacious ground floor family sized bedroom, which has two x double beds and one x single bed, plus en-suite bathroom, is also suitable for those with wheel chair needs as the property has an M2 mobility rating.
The cottages are dog friendly for up to two dogs. There is an additional fee per dog, per stay.
Please contact us before booking if you are under 21 years of age.
Arrival is from 3.30pm and departure is by 10.30am.
Upstairs, there is another large comfortable living area with sea views over the estuary and a double sofa bed. Also upstairs are two twin bedrooms facing the main bathroom and a double bedroom with en-suite shower facilities at the end of the building.
There is one travel cot and one high chair in the lodge. Please note we do not supply stair gates, so do bring your own.
The Cart Lodge has a courtyard garden which stretches along two sides of the building and this contains tables, chairs and that all-important bbq for sunny days (do bring your own BBQ tools as there are none supplied). There is also a chiminea type fire pit.
We sell a BBQ lighting pack, with a bag of charcoal, some wax firelighters and matches for additional cost. These must be ordered and paid for at the time of booking. They cannot be booked on arrival.
We also sell bags of kiln dried logs for the fire pit. These must be ordered and paid for at the time of booking. They cannot be booked on arrival.
A large secure storage area can be found behind the building, suitable for bicycles or windsurfing equipment for those of a sporty nature.
Please note there is no hot tub at this property.
