Marsh Mallow Cottage features five luxury bedrooms, sleeping up to ten guests. It’s perfect for family, friends or colleagues looking to spend quality time together.
The Space:
The kitchen, set under rustic ceiling timbers, boasts a central white granite island and comes equipped with a beautiful Everhot cooker, a large pantry and a wine fridge. As you wander past the kitchen, a step up invites you into the bright, elevated dining area with feature hanging lights and vast patio windows looking out onto the garden. The open-plan kitchen/dining space draws in an abundance of natural light during the day, whilst the exceptionally thought-out lighting makes for a delightfully cosy space after evening has fallen, perfect for enjoying an ambient dinner with family and friends. Just off the kitchen/dining room you will find a useful utility space leading through to a downstairs WC.
Heading away from the kitchen/dining room, you will encounter the first of two living areas offered by Marsh Mallow Cottage, a stunningly decorated room perfect for relaxing by the fire. Continuing through you will then find the stag living room; a calm, light and airy space furnished with grand home décor to delight the eye. This living room leads onto an enclosed front garden for children and dogs to play outside.
Situated at the front of the house, the games room, which once operated as a shopfront, offers a unique charm to the property, inviting plenty of natural light via the shutters on the old shop window. A perfect space to relax and socialise, with a games table and board games for children and adults alike to enjoy.
As you venture upstairs, you are greeted by a stretch landing leading to five beautifully decorated bedrooms, four king size and one double, and a family bathroom. Bedrooms 2 and 4 can also be set up as twin rooms, offering a flexible sleeping arrangement to meet your unique requirements.
The bright and modern family bathroom is complete with a shower bath.
At the end of the landing you will encounter the master suite, with a sizeable walk-in closet connecting the master bedroom to the en suite. The master bedroom, once again complete with king size bed, boasts a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden. The bright and spacious en suite is complete with a roll-top bath as well as a large waterfall shower.
The garden to the rear of Marsh Mallow Cottage provides plenty of space for open-air socialising. The spacious patio, with outdoor furniture and barbecue provided in the summer months and a designated space for a hot tub, creates a versatile and inviting outdoor living space. The large lawned area is a great addition for families with children, offering them an open space for them to play, run around and engage in activities, and even comes complete with a trampoline - fun for all the family.
