Amazing stay, thank you Evan. Our 2nd time here and I’m sure we’ll be back. Dogs loved it and we had a fabulous time walking, fishing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Can’t wait to visit again.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The children loved riding their bikes through the river and searching for newts in puddles in the evenings! They did catch their first brown trout in the reservoir too! Very comfortable cottage, perfect location. Thanks for the Easter eggs for the children, such a treat!

Truly relaxing days at the end of the road

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in the mountains of Mid Wales. We loved the remoteness in that beautiful landscape. Another plus is the owner, Evan. An incredibly nice and helpful person whom we like very much. And one thing: if they write you need a vehicle with high ground clearance, better even with a four-wheel drive, they mean it.

Such an amazing place!

Was not prepared for the river but Evan taught me well and it only got easier as it dropped every day. More rain due so having to leave a day early but I’ll definitely be back again. Evan was a true gent, thoroughly enjoyed chatting to him and finding out the history of the place. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was good. Thank you so much.

This was our first stay at Llechwedd Mawr. What an amazing place.

We were one day late into the property due to the river but Evan put us up in his other cottage in Talybont. On day three of the stay we booked for Summer 2024. Great place, peace and quiet and a few energetic walks nearby. As I write this the river is high again due to overnight rain so it will be touch and go whether we will be able get out later - ahh well!! Evan, brilliant and a perfect host.
