Woodfield Lodge - Rural Cottages with Hot Tub. Dog-friendly
Woodfield Lodge is a gorgeous two-bedroom self-catering holiday home situated in the quaint village of Brookhouse, just 1 mile from Caton and 6 miles from Lancaster City Centre, with a hot tub, wood fire and parking.
The village of Brookhouse is within an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a haven for wildlife, with owls in the trees, lots of squirrels, and deer and otters also visiting from time to time! It is also well located for visitors to visit the coast at Morecambe, the Trough of Bowland, the Lake District, and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks. Within a mile radius, you have a pub (serving food), two local convenience stores, and a popular takeaway.
Exploring the local area couldn't be easier with several local walking trails and a cycle path nearby. The Crook 'O Lune is a popular visitor area, with swimming locations in the River Lune during the warmer months).
Benefiting from a full refurbishment in November '23, the owners created a beautiful holiday home with family or friends in mind. It comprises a fabulous living room with comfy furniture, a wood-burning fire, and a large flatscreen Smart TV. Two beautifully decorated bedrooms, one of which can be made as either a double or two single beds on request, a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances and two bathrooms.
Outside is equally as special; with a large patio area, hot tub, and outdoor furniture, guests can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, perhaps alfresco dining! Luxury bathrobes are provided for guests, too.
Overall, Woodfield Lodge is a great choice of holiday accommodation to use as a base from which to explore many of the popular local attractions or perhaps simply relax at the Lodge for some peace and tranquillity.
