This was our second trip to this property and it was, again, a really great time. The house is spotless, and very comfortable. The weather was pretty cold this time and the heating system works really well. It was decorated for Christmas and we really appreciated that. The kitchen has everything you need and the appliances are clean. We all especially enjoyed the porch which has comfortable seating and an incredible view. Check in was simple and the owner quickly answers questions and is helpful. We are looking forward to visiting this property again.

Wonderful view! Wonderful weather! Changing of the leaves colors was exceptional! Everything was absolutely great! Easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Home was great with everything you needed for an enjoyable week. Highly recommend!

We had a great adventure as we explored the waterfalls, wineries, and state parks. The cabin was one of the best stocked VRBOs we have stayed at. Spotless, everything you could imagine was in the kitchen cupboards and drawers, along with comfortable beds, plenty of soap and supplies. Responsive host when we had a question. So glad it was our choice and we hope to return!

We loved the Mountain Place! It was beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. (Three nice bedrooms, but we only used two.) Our host was helpful and easy to communicate with when we had questions. We hope to stay here again in the future!

This house exceeded our expectations! It’s super clean and so welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable. The furniture is well kept throughout the home, and we all slept really well. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for cooking. We loved the porch, the view is incredible. It’s surrounded with forest and you are looking up at mountains, but within 5 minutes you can be in town at the grocery store! We really appreciate all the thoughtful extras and are already looking forward to coming back.

View on front porch—awesome!!Very nice home; liked the openness so that all could be together in kitchen and in LR. Some items were dusty; ceiling fan in BR with bunk beds was noisy and a bit scary. Hair found in shower; suggest more trash bags be left for guestsWe thoroughly enjoyed your home!!

A wonderful week!

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The location was close to town but private. The cabin was furnished and equipped with everything we could need. The owner was accessible and helpful. The mountain view from the porch was restful and lovely. Loved spending time in the rockers on the porch. Hope to come again!

Beyond FANTASTIC!

Quiet, tranquil, peaceful, serene, million dollar view, VERY CLEAN, and they’ve thought of everything you could possibly need. A home away from home! Great location and easy access. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. They even provide the GOOD paper towels and toilet tissue!

Amazing view, peaceful

The property is tucked away in the mountains and has a spectacular view of the mountain top.Sitting on the front porch was so peaceful and our favorite place to hang. We felt comfortable in the house immediately, nice beds and high quality linens/towels with an open floor plan.I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Great anniversary getaway weekend

Everything about our stay was great. The location is very convenient to Clayton but quiet and secluded. The view of pinnacle knob from the front porch rocking chair was amazing. This was our first trip to Clayton and we enjoyed the downtown area with nice shops and restaurants. Our favorite was the rusty bike. Highly recommend it. Our favorite hike was the Hemlock falls trail. The cabin was very clean and had everything anyone could need.

Visited Family in Clayton

We were very happy with the location, view and the house. I traveled with my sister and my 90 year old Dad. The house met our needs with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living room, kitchen & dining room were very spacious and clean. We had a great time and will rent again on our next visit..

Secluded but close to everything

This home is an absolute gem. Very spacious, comfortable beds, clean. The view from the porch is amazing. We loved the rocking chairs. The location was perfect too. Minutes away from the beautiful downtown Clayton. Also very close to trails. I would come back

Great cozy cabin!

This home was built by my father, brothers, and me in 2002 for my parents who have been visiting the area since their honeymoon in 1957. My mother had vacationed in Clayton since 1940 and our whole family has such amazing memories of this area. Now the house has passed along to us and we would like to share the beauty and tranquility of North Georgia with others. Please enjoy our little cottage and make amazing memories of your own.
