Welcome to our paradise! A hundred years ago, my great-grandfather bought this property and built houses for his five children. Today, we live in two of the five houses, and we rent out the rest. We want the houses to be full of life, which is why we rent them to guests from all over the world. For many years now, we’ve gotten to know guests who return to us every year. Now they’re our friends! We warmly invite you to get to know us, as well as Sweden’s beautiful nature and the area’s fascinating culture.
The Gullranda house has been newly renovated and features a modern kitchen (equipped with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, refrigerator, and small freezer). The new bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. The living room is spacious and bright, with large windows overlooking the lake. The spacious dining area and sofa set allow you to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. On days when the weather isn’t so great, there’s also a TV—and you can even borrow a Chromecast to use with it.
There are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and a view of the lake, and a smaller one with two beds.
From the balcony, you can enjoy the sunset. There are several seating areas around the house, so you can find both sun and shade as needed.
A staircase leads down to our private beach, where there is also outdoor furniture. The beach is child-friendly. You can rent boats or use our wood-fired sauna right on the shore.
Lake Möckeln is a great fishing lake where you can catch zander, pike, and perch.
